Remember Gautam Virani aka Gomzi from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? Popularly known as Gomzi from the show, his real name is Sumeet Sachdev. The actor has his own social media and also directs music videos. While he became immensely popular since he made his appearance with Ekta’s show, he has maintained a low profile. Sumeet posted pictures while posing in a truck. The actor has been spending a long time with wife in Canada. Sumeet shared these pictures with the caption, “#trucking around for the #camera. I just #liked my post in the beginning & the end.”

Sumeet is a doting husband and his humour is on point. Sharing a throwback picture from a wedding they had attended, he mentioned how his wife would have loved it to be from their wedding as she wanted to see him in a beard. He wrote, “At a #wedding - but not ours. She @amritagujralsachdev would have loved it if it was though, coz she wanted me in a #beard for our #anandkaraj ceremony.”

Sumeet likes to keep himself fit and shared pictures from his 10KM running session. Sumeet posted pictures of his morning walk and run.

Sumeet gained instant recognition for his role as Gomzi and made a prominent position for himself in the Indian television fraternity. Several fans on his Insta profile mentioned how they loved him in the show. Sumeet shares a great bond with Shabir Ahluwalia, Sandeep Baswana, Ashlesha Sawant. He shared this picture in 2020 with Shabir and Sandeep as Kyunki… clocked 20 years. A few years back, Sumeet would pariticpate in scrabble competitions. He took part in several national level championships and also earned ranks.

The actor was last seen on TV in the role of Mani with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. During the lockdown, Sumeet started his own channel. He has also directed a music single, ‘Baarish Ban Jana’.
