Harshad Chopda on his role ending in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Whenever a show ends, it's like a breakup, it takes a little while and the emotions are high

One of the longest running daily soaps of Indian television, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all set for another generation leap. Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod, who are all set to bid adieu to the show, share their thoughts on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's generational leap, working with the team and more. They also spoke about bidding adieu to Abhira fans, how much they will miss the show, and their favourite memories. (Photo: Instagram)

Harshad and Pranali on the generation leap

We are very happy about the generation leap, it is a very good thing. Our journey ends here and their journey starts from hereon. The new family is going to enter and a new generation will be introduced. The promos look nice and it is such great news. It has been a good two years and I hope jitna hasaya hai, utna rulaya, pareshaan aur sukoon bhi diya ho. If we made any mistakes please forgive us. We tried to put our best foot forward as actors. Harshad on fans being upset

I think it is a mixed feeling for them and they can decide they should be more happy or sad. It is the same with me. (Photo: Instagram)

Harshad' message for the new generation

We are extremely happy about the leap and the next generation stepping in to take forward the legacy. It's such great news. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is such a show that always gives you double the success when you give your best and work hard diligently. My advice to the next generation in the show, Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami, would be to follow the vision and keep your best foot forward. My best wishes to them. (Photo: Instagram)

Pranali on the memories

There are many amazing memories. Having fun with the Goenka's and Birla family. Whenever we went out for outdoor shoots we just had a blast. The wedding sequences were so much fun and there was so much amazing fun. (Photo: Instagram)

Harshad on the memories from the show

Everything is a memory now. When you work on a show, you give your best to each and every shot or scene. We give your blood, sweat, hard work and do the work with full involvement, so everything becomes memory. This time the emotions are so high because we are quitting the show. Whenever a show is ending it is like a breakup, it takes a while to get over it, emotions are high, there will be problems with the articulation, there won't be clarity. This is the situation with us now. (Photo: Instagram)

Pranali on working with the Yeh Rishta team

I have been very fortunate as wherever I've gone, I have always met good people. The team has been really good, trust me. They all are such good people, whenever I got unwell they have taken care of me like their own. The makeup didi, the hair dada. I am very grateful to be a part of the team and they are really nice. Harshad on best moments of #Abhira

Whenever you do something with a good intent everything falls into place. We would work with the intent that we want to be better, we want to make it reach somewhere, we want to be number. The pehla pehla pyaar hai on phone, Akshara applying oil in her ponytail, dance sequences which we did together. All these were memorable. All these were part of scenes, Sanam's music added charm to those scenes. (Photo: Instagram)
