Gauahar Khan trolled for not posting 'R.I.P' for Hina Khan's father; actress replies strongly, 'I have her dad in my prayers and don't need to prove my connection with her to silly people like you'

Reality TV personality Gauahar Khan went live on Instagram to interact with her fans but little did she know that a light-hearted conversation would take a sour turn. The actress was provoked by a comment made by a female user for not making any post on the shocking demise of Hina Khan's father. Hina and Gauahar bonded with each other inside the Bigg Boss 14 house where they entered as 'Toofani Seniors' and they were loved by the audience too. Recently, Hina's father succumbed to a cardiac arrest and during Gauahar's live one of the users belittled her for not commenting 'R.I.P' on social media. This irked Gauahar and she gave back to the trolls for testing her patience. Read what the actress said:

Belittled for not posting 'R.I.P' for Hina's dad

A user degraded Gauahar Khan for not speaking about Hina Khan's father's demise on social media. The actress lost her cool and said, "Because I am not a fake person to put it out only on social media. What I had to do, I did it. My connection with Hina is from my heart and I don't need to prove my connection to really silly people like you. So, please keep your negativity to yourself and don't bring it here. I am an individual and I take my decisions on a personal level. What I feel and how I feel, I react accordingly, and I will always do that, and I have her dad in my prayers, her in my prayers, and I don't need to prove anything to silly people like you, who only live your lives on social media and think just by putting a condolence on social media, you are feeling something, that's not true. When you feel, you feel. And, when you feel, you reach out to the person. You don't have to prove it to the 'janta' (public), understand.. This just makes me so angry. " On the night when Hina's dad passed away, Gauahar along with her husband Zaid had rushed to Kokilaben hospital.

Quick to judge

Gauahar Khan was also trolled for posting videos and pictures on social media after she lost her father one and a half month ago. The actress had been patient all this while, but at last, she broke her silence and said, "People are so sick, let me just address this. I lost my dad a month and a half ago and people were so quick to judge. 'Oh, you are already posting stuff. You are already putting pictures and dance videos.' Do you people even know what it takes to get over a loss? Do you know that a person doesn't need to sit like this and wonder 'Oh my God, I am losing somebody.' You can't do that. In Islam, you can't grieve for more than three days. You can't cry and be in sadness for more than three days. You have to move on, you have to live your life, you have to carry on with the love of the person that you've lost. So, don't you dare and keep your judgements to yourself and let people be, the way they want to heal, the way they want to come out of things, the way they want to function, stop judging people."

Not answerable to trolls

Gauahar says that the trolls feel some kind of ownership and believe we actors are answerable to each and every question put down by them. She said, "I've heard enough of this nonsense, where people just want answers and people think you are answerable to them. Nobody is answerable to you trolls, wanting to comment on people's pages. Mind your own business and let people be and let people heal. I am 100 percent sure that people will go out there and say, 'abhi toh hua hai.' 'Sharam karo yaar' somebody has lost someone and only we know, the people who lose people know how to deal with it, and everyone's healing process is different. And you are nobody to judge someone's life. 'Kya pehna hai, kya khaya hai, kya soya hai' yehi karne aate ho social media par? Live and let live. 'Besharam'. I just wanted to be happy today and this is what happens. 'panchayati people, I just want to slap everybody who is judgemental.'"

On being trolled for posting online after her father's demise

"I've been ignoring these trolls for so long. Every picture that I posted after my dad passed away, there were comments saying, 'Oh, aapke dad ko 40 din bhi nahin hue hain.' I was like 'sharam nahin aati tumko' (cries). You are reminding me 20,000 times of how I lost my father (cries) You don't need to remind me losers, I already know that. Everyday I ignore that and now when someone else unfortunately has lost her dad, and they expect me to put a rest in peace on social media. Excuse me, I don't need to do that to let someone know that I am there for them. I am there for her and she (Hina) knows that, I am sure. How dare you judge that?," said an infuriated and emotional Gauahar.

6/7

People will always judge

"I realise that let people judge, let people think what they want because whether you like it or not, they are going to think what they want, they are going to judge. I have realised in these two months that people are judged for every little thing, we shouldn't do that. We don't know who's going through what. I request you please don't judge people because you don't know what's happening in their lives. You could have an opinion and just keep it to yourselves. but don't go out there trolling and talking sh*t about people and assuming 'how could you?' I feel like giving a tight slap to all these judgemental people.

7/7

Prayers are the need of the hour

Gauahar Khan said that we need to pray for each and everyone which is important and required for the rest of our lives. "Everybody needs a 'dua' for all their lives."
