From Sreesanth to Kushal Tandon, Bigg Boss contestants who tried to escape the house

One of the most controversial reality shows of Indian television, Bigg Boss is known for its celebrity contestants, love affairs and fights on the show. The reality series is currently in the news courtesy former cricketer and Bigg Boss 12 contestant Sreesanth's 'I want to leave the house' drama. However, he is not the only one who has tried to escape the house. In the previous seasons too Bigg Boss has witnessed many instances when the contestants have tried to leave the house. A look at them.

Shivashish Mishra, who has mostly stayed away from fights and controversies in Bigg Boss 12, is the latest contestant who has tried to escape the house. In a preview teaser it is shown that Shivashish confides in Jasleen that he doesn't like the way he is going in the game and doesn't aim to win the reality series. After some time, Jasleen goes inside the house. Shivashish then climbs the roof and tries to run away. Housemates notice this and they run to stop him. (Photo: Instagram).

S Sreesanth, who is currently locked inside the house, has until now made several attempts to leave the house. After his every fight, Sreesanth can be seen either knocking at the main door or trying to climb up the roof top to escape from the house.

Just like Sreesanth, even Vikas Gupta tried his luck for two to three times, but he failed in all his attempts. During season 11, Vikas tried to leave the house after he had a showdown with few contestants over the selection of worst performer. After his name was suggested as the worst performer and he was asked to go to jail, Vikas tried to escape the house. After all the housemates fell asleep, he apparently tried to run away from the house. However, he was not successful in his attempt. He was then called by Bigg Boss in the confession room and also pulled up for his act. Vikas told Bigg Boss that he doesn't want to stay in the house anymore and is ready to pay the penalty of Rs 2 crore and leave the house. But he was asked to re-think about it.

It all started during a punishment task when Puneet and Ali had a heated argument and Puneet reveled that Ali had passed an unpleasant remark about Sonali and Upen. After this, an agitated Sonali slapped Ali. This irked Ali, who ran all over the place with his suitcase and even tried to climb the roof-top shouting out loud to Bigg Boss stating that Sonali had slapped him and he will not tolerate it. As a repercussion of this, Sonali was punished by Bigg Boss. She was nominated till the time she was in the show.

Popular TV actor Kushal Tandon, who was part of one of the most successful season of Bigg Boss 7, also tried to run away from the reality series. After his fight with inmate Tanishaa Mukherjee, the Beyhadh actor tried to climb up the wall. He had a major showdown with Tanishaa and wanted the actress to apologies to him for pushing him during a task. When Bigg Boss did not give any reaction, tried to leave the house. He was later reprimanded by Bigg Boss for his hasty decision.

Rahul Mahajan, Raja Chaudhary, Ashutosh Kaushik and Zulfi Sayed started with the trend of running away from the house. Ahead of the finale, all the four contestants tried to escape the house by climbing the walls of Bigg Boss house, but were caught and asked to leave. While Raja, Ashutosh, Zulfi apologized for their behaviour, Rahul apparently refused to say sorry and opted to quit the show
