Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest running TV shows of all time. The show completed 15 years milestone on July 28 and the cast members are celebrating the show's success. While some actors are still a part of the show since its conception there were others who decided to move on and later their characters got replaced mid way. Here’s a list..

Shailesh was a part of the show for more than a decade. He was loved for his portrayal of Taarak Mehta in the hit TV show. However, due to some creative differences he left the show midway. Months later, Sachin Shroff took over his role. The actor opened up about his exit first to ETimes TV. According to reports, Shailesh wasn’t quite happy with his contract with the show and wanted better opportunities.

Raj Anandkat is another popular Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor, who shocked fans with his exit from the TV show. He made an official announcement about the same through social media. In the post he confirmed that he is no longer associated to the sitcom and wants to thank everyone for all the love and support. Much later he was replaced by Nitish Bhaluni.

Gurucharan was a part of the popular sitcom from the beginning. However, he decided to leave the show due to his dad’s health issues. The actor decided to leave the show and give time to his dad. There were also reports of him having issues with the production house but he never confirmed it. He was later replaced by Balvinder Singh.

Nidhi, who played the role of Sonu Bhide left the show midway, as she wanted to concentrate on her higher studies. She was pursing BA and wanted to dedicate all her time to her studies. The actress made her television debut with the TV show and was a part of it for over 6 years. However, Palak Sindhwani took over her role after she made an exit.

Monika played one interesting role in the TV show. She played the character of Bawri in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actress decided to part ways with the show due to issues with makers. Monika was a part of the show for six years and later got replaced by Navina Wadekar. She spoke to ETimes TV and said, "Yes, I have left the show. It's been more than two months since I quit. I will miss the character a lot since I had molded it my way."

Neha’s role in Taarak Mehta was one of the most loved characters. She played the role of Anjali Taarak Mehta. However, she bid adieu to the show after being a part of it since its start. She was a part of the show for 12 years and left it in 2020. Neha got replaced by Qubool Hai actress Sunayana Fozdar.

Bhavya, known as the OG Tapu gained immense love and popularity for his role. He was a part of the show for 8 years long years. Bhavya literally grew up on the show as we initially saw as a kid. Fans believe that Bhavya pulled out the role best and still miss him on the show. The actor got replaced by Raj Anandkat.
