Kapil Sharma started out with his own show Comedy Nights With Kapil and went on to do The Kapil Sharma Show. After more than a decade and many seasons of his show, Kapil has finally ventured out and gone big with OTT. The Great Indian Kapil Show has been winning hearts with the recent episodes. The upcoming episode is set to be Aamir Khan's debut on the show. Looking back at the OG gang of Kapil when he began his journey. Here's what they are up to.

Navjot Singh Sidhu made a place in everyone's hearts as the permanent guest on the show. His comic timing often left the audience in splits and the guests in awe of his shayaris. However, due to the political matters Sidhu had to make an exit from the show and was replaced by Archana Puran Singh. Often, Kapil cracks jokes hinting that someday the former cricket-turned--politician shall return.

Sumona Chakravarti has been a part of Kapil's show for more than a decade. The actress started off with Kapil in Comedy Circus and continued with him for more than a decade till the last season. With the new season on OTT, Sumona wasn't a part of it. However, she has been enjoying her time off from the show.

Upasana has been a renowned artist in the Punjabi and Hindi TV industry. The actress starred in Comedy Nights With Kapil as Kapil's bua. She had a short stint with the show for around 3 years and later decided to quit the show as she wasn't creatively satisfied.

Ali Asgar needs no introduction, his character as Dadi went viral for the longest time. However, the actor chose to make an exit owing to the reason that he found no scope in his character and was turning monotonous. After quitting the show, Ali was last spotted in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 10 where he won many hearts for his prowess.

Chandan has been a part of Kapil's journey since the show's inception. His interesting job profiles on the show kept the fans hooked. When he decided to quit the show, Chandan previously stated that he took a break from The Kapil Sharma Show after doing it for the past five years. The comedian wanted to focus on various topics and was hoping to be part of a web series.
