From meeting Dimpy Ganguly’s family to going on drinking water hunt: Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary’s mini Dubai trip with two daughters

Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary are off to a long holiday with family to Switzerland and other European cities. However, the family decided to halt in Dubai for 3 days before flying out. Through Debina’s vlogs, the parents to two cute daughters Lianna and Divisha, gave a glimpse of how they are travelling, packing hacks and a lot more.

Debina’s parents are also accompanying them along with their house help. Debina and Gurmeet shared that it’s so hot in Dubai in this time of the year that they ruled out travelling to the other touristy spots.

Gurmeet and Debina’s father went on a drinking water hunt early in the morning. Gurmeet took to vlogging and shared, “We are not aware if tap water can be used for drinking in Dubai. In European countries, you can use tap water for drinking. So, I am out to get drinking water for the babies but don’t know if shops open here at 7-8am.” Gurmeet did get to find a store inside the Mall, which opened at 7.30am and they got drinking water.

The family rented out an apartment that’s situated in the Dubai Mall. In Debina’s words, “It is hop, skip and jump from the Mall. It was convenient for us because we are here for only 2-3 days. We didn’t want to travel in heat.” They have been doing their own cooking and shopped for vegetables, fruits and other cooking items to sustain for their stay.

The family wanted to take their kids to the Ski Dubai in the Mall but kids below 2 years are not allowed owing to low temperatures. Debina said, “Since it’s not permitted here if God wishes, the kids will get to see real snow in Switzerland.” The parents made sure their kids had a good time as they introduced them to toy animals present throughout the mall. They also shopped for the kids.

You just can’t get over Lianna and Divisha’s cuteness throughout. Debina and Gurmeet introduced their daughters to real fishes and sharks in the Dubai Mall aquarium. The two kids looked in awe as Debina started singing and dancing to Baby Shark Doo Doo song in the mall.

Gurmeet did their flat tour and shared there is strict security and a lot of access cards required to enter. The couple did a home tour. She said, “Stepping out is so difficult because of all the security and access card.” Gurmeet shared the view and Debina showed the rooms and said, “When you are travelling with two toddlers, I can’t think what is right or wrong. It’s going to be messy.”

Dimpy Ganguly and Debina have been good friends. Dimpy shifted base to Dubai ever since marriage and Debina utilised this mini trip to connect with her. Debina shared pictures with Dimpy, who lives in Dubai with her husband Rohit Roy and their three kids. Debina wrote, “Here we go... we have come a long way mumma .. and we still go strong. Tried capturing from us to all of us....a few were missing though. Some blurred pictures to some clumsy poses makes the real us. @dimpy_g ( only love to you) keep inspiring with your simplicity.” They had dinner at her place.
