From Kapil Sharma to Urfi Javed; TV celebs who got into legal trouble this year

TV celebs are often in the limelight, may it be for good or bad reasons. Year 2022 is about to end and there were a few TV celebs who made headlines for the wrong reasons. From Nora Fatehi, Nikki Tamboli getting called by the NCB in a money laundering case to Kapil Sharma and Urfi Javed getting into legal trouble, these TV celebs received major backlash this year. Here’s a list of such TV celebs:-

Sajid, whose name cropped up in the ‘#MeToo’ movement, is currently locked insde the Bigg Boss 16 house. Audience were not quite happy with his participation in the TV reality. Sherlyn Chopra who accused the Bollywood director of harassing her came out against him once again this year. She filed a case against him and urged for his removal from the show.

An ED chargesheet came out this year where Nikki Tamboli’s name was highlighted in the conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s money laundering case. The actress allegedly received a Rs 3.5 lakh and a luxurious Gucci bag. She appeared before the EOW of Delhi office where she was investigated over the same.

Rakhi got into a tiff with Sherlyn after she filed a case against Sajid Khan. The actress came out in the support of Bollywood director. This lead to an ugly public spat between Rakhi and Sherlyn. The two filed defamation case against each other for making derogatory remarks.

Kapil Sharma got into a legal mess for an alleged breach of contract. According to the reports, Kapil was paid to perform in six cities of Canada. However, the comedian and actor performed only in five of them. A foreign company filed a lawsuit against him for breaching the contract and shared a post on their social media. They captioned the post, "SAI USA INC FILES THE LAWSUIT AGAINST KAPIL SHARMA FOR Breach of contract in 2015."

Urfi Javed was another TV celebs who landed in legal trouble this year. The actress got into the trouble for allegedly doing 'illegal and obscene acts' in public and on social media. The Bigg Boss OTT fame and social media star is usually seen in her bold and bizarre style where she wears outfits made with safety pins, cotton candy, razors and more. A mumbai based lawyer filed the case against the actress.

Rakhi Sawant’s ex-husband Ritesh got into legal trouble after the two had an ugly divorce earlier this year. Rakhi filed a case against her ex-husband for harassing and blackmailing her online. The two got into a public feud on the internet.
