From Elvish Yadav getting bail in the Snake Venom Case to Rajan Shahi ousting Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai; Newsmakers of the week

The past week has been extremely eventful. There were major revelations and incidents that took place. The biggest shocker was when Rajan Shahi revealed that he has sacked Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe from the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar revealed their baby boy's face while Elvish Yadav finally got bail.

Elvish Yadav has been granted bail in the Snake Venom case. Yesterday, it was reported that the cops made a clerical error. Elvish Yadav was placed in judicial prison after reportedly distributing snake venom to rave events in Gurugram. His companion Vinay was also brought into custody. Elvish Yadav has been granted bail. His fans had assembled outside the court. He acknowledged everyone who has helped him throughout this difficult time.

Rohit Chandel exclusively shared with ETimes TV about his stint with Pandya Store, he shared, "The journey has been really amazing, just a few days back I returned from Azerbaijan and a localite there recognized me, he even mentioned Pandya Store so it feels amazing that people are watching our show in Eastern Europe as well. Gauahar Khan, who co-hosted the show Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 11, has ended up its run. Gauahar and her husband, Zaid Darbar, decided to go on their first pilgrimage as parents soon after the show finished. The couple went to Saudi Arabia to conduct their first Umrah with their little son Zehaan. Gauahar recently took to Instagram to post a photo of her adorable munchkin Zehaan on their Umrah journey. The family was observed wearing ihram while doing the rituals.

Vineeta made a personal revelation during the recent episode, she shared, “The example of the baby that you gave in an incubator, I was also born 7 weeks premature born and weighed 1.2 kgs. I spent 2 weeks in an incubator. I remember my mom’s biggest regret was that she couldn’t see me for 3 days.”

Radhika Gupta also shared, “I was born in Pakistan. I was overweight and also in an incubator and the issue I have with my neck is because I was in an incubator. The problem with incubators is that parents can’t see the baby. It takes a toll on a kid’s life.” Radhika further shared, “I was kept in an incorrect position, which became a lifelong issue.”

The production house has issued a statement stating that events have prompted Directors Kut Production to take a firm stance against the unprofessional behaviour displayed by two actors from the TV show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" - Shehzada Dhami, who plays Armaan, and Pratiksha Honmukhe, who plays Ruhi. Shehzada Dhami's disrespect for work ethics was clear from the start, as he constantly threw tantrums and mistreated the staff. Despite efforts to resolve the matter, his behaviour continued, undermining the peaceful work environment that Directors Kut Production seeks to preserve. Pratiksha Honmukhe, a novice nurtured by the production firm, did not live up to the character requirements.

Rohit Purohit replaces Shehzada Dhami as Armaan Poddar in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, while having a conversation with BT, Rohit reacted to the comparison, “Yes, comparisons are bound to happen when you replace an actor in a popular show. However, I don’t feel pressured because of my extensive experience in the industry and my confidence in my craft. I understand there are expectations from the makers and the audience. I will make sure I give my best and am accepted as the new Armaan Poddar. Over the years, I have come to understand that the audience first forges a connection with a character and the actor portraying the part comes in much later. I don’t see replacing someone as a challenge because I have learnt the importance of staying true to the character. If I do that, the audience will naturally connect with me. I am sure I will make a place in their hearts and won't disappoint them.”

In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Sriti Jha shared how her parents never pressured her to get married, she said, "Thankfully, no. I have to give credit to my parents for it. They have never given me that pressure of getting married. We are conditioned like this because we grow up seeing this happening around us. The first exposure is your parents, friends, and sisters and you look around and you feel this is the natural process. Mujhe Kabhi itna pressure toh mehsoos nahi hota."

Recently, Aishwarya Sharma fainted at a Holi event during her performance, that incident sparked pregnancy rumours. Aishwarya then took to her Instagram handle to clarify, she wrote, "For the third time, I am saying this out loud because I am sick of getting messages. Stop making any assumptions, I am a human being, and sometimes my blood pressure drops... (sic)." She further added, "FYI, my BP drop was 60-80, that's why I passed out on set. I am not pregnant, stop this now. Thank you."
