Kiku recalls heartbreaking moments

In a podcast with Mr. Faisu, Kiku recalled the most heartbreaking moment from his life. He spoke about times when his mother was unwell, yet he was still expected to perform comedy on stage, regardless of his personal feelings. “My parents are no more. However, when my mom was alive, there were times when she was unwell and I was expected to perform a comedy act. From within, I was extremely sad but had to do it for work.” He added that during such performances, he would call his mother during breaks to check on her.

While talking about getting trolled for his body weight, he shared, “There was a girl who was overweight and wasn’t confident about her body. However, she gained confidence after seeing my performances and thanked me for the same.”

When he worked with SRK

With time, Kiku also featured in Bollywood movies. He starred in several films, including Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year, which grossed nearly Rs 397 crore worldwide. His other popular Bollywood works include Phir Hera Pheri, Dhamaal, Race, Jawaani Jaaneman, Angrezi Medium, and Thank God. Kiku has been nothing short of an inspiration to his fans.
