​From breaking down in tears at her childhood home to remembering each memory with her father, Ankita Lokhande's visit to Indore is all things emotional

Ankita Lokhande, well known for her role as Archana in Pavitra Rishta, opposite the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav, recently returned to her childhood home in Indore with her husband, businessman Vicky Jain, and mother, Vandana Pandis Lokhande. The actress got a warm welcome from her family and also visited Chef Harpal's restaurant in Indore. Here's all that happened on their emotional visit:

​Bumps into Chef Harpal in the flight

Ankita and Vicky plan a short trip to Ankita's hometown, Indore. Looking at the bags, Ankita asks Vicky, 'do din ki trip ke liye itna saman'. Vicky jokes that he is taking gifts for the family members. Amid their fun banter on the airport, as they sit in the flight, they meet Chef Harpal who was seated right before them.

​Grand welcome for Vicky

Vicky and Ankita receive a grand welcome, Ankita's mother and cousins come to receive them. As they reach Ankita's masi's home the family welcomes them with garlands, flowers and more. The family even prepares a lavish meal, all of them pamper their damaadji Vicky in the house.

​Re-living Chhappan memories

Ankita, Vicky and Ankita's masis and mom head to Chhappan to relish the famous dishes. Ankita even shares, 'In childhood, I used to often come to Chhappan bazaar without telling mumma and eat all these delicious meals here.' They taste Indori kulfis, sitaphal rabri and also try out some famous farsans.

​Visiting Chef Harpal's restaurant

Ankita and Vicky went with their whole family to Chef Harpal's restaurant. He hosted them with scrumptious dishes and spent time. Ankita said, 'my masis have a complaint from you chef, they are demanding that you must give us one star every week.'

​Ankita breaks down in tears in her childhood home

As she entered the house, Ankita burst into tears and hugged her mother, who was equally distraught. She was heard saying in Marathi that if her father were present today, she would be crying, but he is not, thus the tears came. Later, Ankita toured Vicky around her house, talking about her childhood memories and how she had so many dreams while growing up there.

​Ankita calls her childhood home very lucky

Ankita then thanked the tenants who live in the home, she shared, 'Aapne humara ghar jaisa tha waise hi rakha hai, thank you soo much. Yeh ghar bohot lucky hai. Maine apne saare sapne yahan dekhe the, aaj jo bhi mukaam pe hu woh isi ghar se mila hai mujhe.'

​Goes to Nani's home

Ankita then visits her Nani's home and gets astonished seeing how her nani still climbed the stairs to go home. As she reaches, she shares, 'Mujhe meri nani ne bada kiya hai. This home holds a special place in my life. I have always been my nani's daughter.'
