From Anupam Mittal's major brawls to Peyush Bansal's blank cheque moment; Here's how season 2 of Shark Tank India wrapped up

Season 2 of Shark Tank India has finally come to an end. The season has unveiled some intriguing and innovative pitches as well as pitchers. Here's a recap of the entire season and everything that shall stay memorable for Shark Tank India 2:

2/12

The Highest deal of the season

In one episode of Shark Tank 2, Amit Jain made the largest offer to an HR IT platform. The Shark offered Rs 5 crore in exchange for 10% equity, but the company's founder declined since he did not want to dilute his shareholding so much. Ultimately, an agreement was reached on a price of Rs 2 crore for 4% equity.

3/12

Some weird and hilarious products on the show

This season not only had some interesting pitches but there were some absolutely weird and hilarious pitches too. From a sleeping blanket bag that made Anupam look hilarious. While there was another pitch of a petticoat brand which left all the Sharks in splits.

4/12

Youngest pitcher of the season

Shreyaan Daga, one of the youngest pitchers on Shark Tank India Season 2, astonished the sharks' with his aptitude and business acumen. Daga, who began his business journey at the age of eight, launched his online learning company as a teenager last year. As a few sharks' backed out, realising how difficult it would be to grow the business, Peyush Bansal and Vineeta Singh paid Rs 30 lakh for 5% equity in his company.

5/12

Benchmark pitches from the young minds

This season had some staggering young entrepreneurs who made business in Lakhs and crores. The iced jewellery entrepreneurs were barely 19-year-olds who had their product featured by each and every Bollywood star. On the other hand, the college pass-out trio made Indianized drones accessible for budding photographers. Another refreshing example is Sana who stirred the fashion Industry with her modest fashion brand that gave a choice to those women who wanted to dress modestly but have a sense of fashion.

6/12

Bootstrap business models

This season sharks were stunned to witness some massively profitable businesses which were completely bootstrapped. Be it the fast pace clothing brand, the iced jewellery brand or Parul Gulati's hair extension brand they were all completely bootstrapped.

7/12

The All Sharks deals

More than the previous season, the second season had quite a few all sharks deals till its finale episode. From a clothing brand to a wheelchair for the disabled, these brands got an all-shark deal this season for their profitable business, social cause and many such impressive factors of their business.

8/12

Peyush Bansal's blank cheque moment

Peyush Bansal was so touched by an entrepreneur's pitch that he offered him a blank check. "You had come to collect Rs 50 lakhs. Aap vo lelo aur aapki value pe, aapko Rs 1 cr chahiye ya 2 cr chahiye, "He stated. The sharks were seen competing for a stake in the sanitary napkin manufacturing company. Finally, the entrepreneur signed a Rs 1 crore deal with the sharks, which included Bansal.

9/12

Innovative and path-breaking pitches

From cycles, wheelchairs, flowers, and ambulances to tractors this season witnessed some of the most innovative business ideas, however, some couldn't bag a deal. The brain watch, pad disposal brand, uroflow brand and many such companies were the most path-breaking deals of this season.

10/12

Namita Thapar transformed into a solo Shark from Dolphin

Namita Thapar was constantly asked by Anupam and Aman on the show whether she is a Shark or a Dolphin. However, she has proven them wrong by making the most deals on Shark Tank India and also made some major solo deals on the show. While Anupam mentioned, 'Namita ke alawa sabki expertise badh gayi hai.' She proved him wrong with her knowledge of different facets of business and made some major deals on the show.

11/12

The new shark Amit Jain's journey

The new shark of season 2, Amit Jain, had an impressive journey on the show. The newest shark also had many brawls with Anupam Mittal on the show due to their difference of opinion. Amit made some interesting deals and even set an example for all the Sharks of his entrepreneurial journey, his values and respect for all those elderly pitchers. In one of the episodes, he even touched the feet of a pitcher and said that he reminded him of his grandfather.

12/12

The Shark Pitch by Vineeta Singh

Shark Vineeta Singh and her husband Kaushik Mukherjee come with their cosmetic brand. Kaushik takes the stage and invites Vineeta, his business partner from 2016, to join him. 'Don't anticipate any mercy,' Peyush warns as they present their cosmetic line. To keep the pitch light, the Sharks asked some professional and personal life-related questions. Their proposal, however, was for Rs 1 cr for 2% equity. Vineeta seals the deal with an all-sharks deal of Rs 5 cr for 5% equity.
