From Alia Bhatt not going to the loo for 6 hours during MET Gala to Karan Johar owning a bag worth Rs 35 lakhs; Revelations made on The Great Indian Kapil Show

The Great Indian Kapil Show has returned for its second season, and the premiere episode last week brought together the cast of Jigra, featuring the stunning Alia Bhatt, filmmaker Karan Johar, Vedang Raina, and director Vasan Bala. During the episode, Alia and Karan shared amusing stories and made lighthearted jokes, keeping the audience thoroughly entertained. Recently, Kapil shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the episode on his channel, offering a glimpse of the fun and chaos that went into filming this laughter-filled show.

During a segment on the show, Kapil said that it often happens that people find it difficult to doze off if they hit the bed earlier than their usual time, he went on to ask Alia if something of this sort happens with her as well. KJo interjected, and said that he has trouble falling asleep, before he gave a frivolous response saying, “Main bilkul aasaani se nahi so pata, na khud ke saath na kisi aur ke saath (I have trouble falling asleep with myself and with others)”. Karan Johar expressed his love for Alia Bhatt and Archana Puran Singh and calls them Meri Rani (Alia Bhatt) and Meri Ms Briganza (Archana). Alia adds that Ms Bringanza is wearing a pink outfit. Kapil quickly jokes the outfits are someone else’s and they will take back from her after the shoot. Archana strongly reacts, “chup kar Mera hai ye.” Kapil gives a surprised reaction and says, “Aapne kapde Kharidna shuru kar diya.” Making everyone laugh out loud. (Photo: Instagram)

Kapil Sharma highlights how everyone in the industry takes guidance from Karan Johar whenever they want to start their career or take any decision. He calls him the Bhishmapitamah of the industry. He asks him who does he go to when he needs advise. Karan says, “Dikhiye most often kya hai jab aap jawab doonhte hain aap Kisi Aur ka instinct chahte hain, ke Woh kya pehla khayal hai aap ke dimaag mein ke karna chahiye Yaa nahi… actually saare joh mere dost hain Woh mere consultants bhi hai.. like Alia, Ranbir, SRK, Aditya Chopra, Manish, I’m very privileged that I can go to them and ask them anything.” Archana asks him whenever you have a heartbreak whose shoulder do you cry on? Kapil goes on to discuss how he wanted to invite Alia and Ranbir together on the show but once parenthood journey starts one parent has to stay home. He asks Alia if Ranbir manages Raha well or he calls her. Alia goes on to praise Ranbir and says, “He is very good, even if he calls it is FaceTime if Raha has to speak to me. Alia further adds, “The way they (Raha-Ranbir) play with each other it gives me immense joy to look at them. He keeps inventing new games while having her dinner. Like he says plane aane waala hai, for plane to come it needs fuel. So the plane trick is the most natural trick. He keeps telling her if you want the plane to come, you have to have one bite. While discussing about Alia Bhatt’s MET gala appearance, the actress revealed there was a theme “Garden of time”. To this Archana asks Alia “how does one go to washroom with this kind of a dress? You take a party with you? Somebody is holding the pallu? Alia goes on to reveal that she didn’t go to the washroom for 6 hours. Kapil gets embarrassed and asks the ladies to change the topic. Kapil and Archana have a conversation about his kids and she asks him if they have seen any of his films. Kapil shares they have watched Student Of The Year and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. She further asks if they have watched where he has acted and he jokes about Bombay Velvet. Karan says, “I’ve acted in Bombay Velvet should I show them that film.” Archana laughs out loud. Archana compliments Karan that after becoming father he has started to look young. However, Karan refuses saying, “This is midlife crisis. When you reach a certain age, you realise your youth is over and you have started to get old. Kapil makes a revelation about Karan Johar and his the luxurious and expensive things he owns. Kapil shares Karan has a bag which costs around Rs 35 lakhs. He jokes, “Aap ka mann nahi kiya 2 lakh rupaye Aur daal ke Virar mein ghar Kharid loon?” Everyone bursts out laughing. Karan says he doesn’t want to comment on this topic and wants to zip his mouth.
