From a walk-in wardrobe to a bathtub: Debinna Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary give a glimpse into their aesthetically done white haven

Television’s much-loved couple Debinna Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary recently opened the doors to their serene white haven in Mumbai through a candid home tour vlog with Nayandeep Rakshit. From warm family corners to thoughtfully designed luxury spaces, the home reflects their personalities, love for minimalism, and strong family values.

A home built on love, not luxury

For Gurmeet, a home is far more than marble floors or expensive walls, it’s about people and emotions. “The definition of a home would be the people who live in the house,” he shared, adding that happiness matters more than grandeur. While the house is among their most expensive properties in Mumbai, the couple believes true richness lies in togetherness, love, and peace. Their words beautifully underline how emotional comfort outweighs material luxury.

3/9

The first feeling matters

Debinna believes a home should feel right the moment you step in. “The first thing is the vibe check,” she said, explaining how emotional connection matters more than technicalities like Vastu. The couple felt an instant sense of belonging when they entered this house. For them, that feeling of ownership and warmth was non-negotiable and became the foundation for building their dream space.

4/9

A neutral, earthy design philosophy

Debinna’s design sensibility leans toward calm, earthy tones. She revealed, “I have made my whole house very neutral like beige and earthy.” The palette ensures no single color dominates, creating visual harmony throughout the home. However, one intentional burst of yellow sits at the center, symbolising warmth and positivity. The neutral aesthetic reflects Debinna’s personality balanced, soothing and timeless.

5/9

Hands-on styling in record time

The transformation of the house was nothing short of intense. Gurmeet revealed that Debinna finalised four contracts in just 45 days. From wallpapers and mirrors to lights and wall structures, Debinna personally sourced every element. “I’ve seen everything in pictures and just gotten it,” she shared. Her hands-on approach ensured each corner carried her personal touch, making the house deeply intimate.

6/9

The balcony: A rain-loving retreat

For Debinna, a balcony was a must-have luxury. She shared how she loves the sound of rain in Mumbai and wanted a space to enjoy it fully. The balcony features outdoor-style flooring and a levelled layout, making it perfect for relaxation. In a city of compact homes, this spacious balcony feels like a quiet escape, blending urban living with nature’s rhythm.

7/9

The photo wall of memories

The couple’s photo wall narrates their journey through time. “This is like a cycle of time and how we have evolved,” Debinna explained. Featuring travel memories and symbolic moments, it reflects their shared love for exploration. Gurmeet added that each photo instantly takes him back—to Paris, Turkey, and Kolkata—turning the wall into a living scrapbook of emotions.

8/9

The study and work zone

Their yellow-themed study and office space is where creativity meets productivity. Though freshly completed, the room already hosts narrations, meetings, and work discussions. “My office is here. Debinna’s office is here,” Gurmeet shared. The space mirrors their professional lives, collaborative, energetic and constantly evolving, while still staying aligned with the home’s overall calm aesthetic.

9/9

Walk-in wardrobe and bathtub

Minimal yet elegant, their bedroom extends into a dreamy walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious bathroom with a bathtub. “We manifested this,” Debinna said. While the tub is meant for relaxation, it’s mostly occupied by their daughters, Lianna and Divisha. Gurmeet joked that family bath time usually means three people in the tub, making luxury moments wonderfully chaotic and full of love.
