Right from her childhood, actress Kanchi Singh’s parents have been surprising her on her birthday. As she turns a year older today (March 27), she says that she still looks forward to birthday plans with her parents and friends.
“Today's my birthday and I couldn't be more thrilled. One of my favourite memories is how my parents always made my birthday special by inviting my friends over. Even though it's not a total surprise anymore, it's still so much fun when they all show up, even today. We gather around, cut the cake, and just hang out together. It's always a blast.” she says.
Meanwhile, she says that she looks at every birthday as a day to introspect and see how she has grown in the past year. “I totally agree that age is just a number. I always believe in feeling young at heart, no matter how many years pass by. And you know what? I'm grateful that I don't look too old either. Staying youthful in spirit is what matters most to me,” she says.
Talking about what she is gifting herself this year, she says, “I've decided to treat myself for my birthday with a gift, and I couldn't be more excited about it. I'm planning to get the latest Apple Watch, the 9th series. It's something I've been eyeing for a while now, and I can't wait to have it on my wrist. It's going to be a fantastic birthday present to myself.”
Meanwhile, ask her what she makes sure to do every birthday, and she says, “One of my birthday rituals is starting the day with a visit to the temple. Every year, as soon as I wake up, I go with either my mom, dad, or both of them. It's a ritual that I've been following for as long as I can remember, and it holds a special place in my heart.”
She adds, “I only wish I have for my birthday is that I get blessed by God and my fans keep loving me the way they do. That really means a lot to me.”
