Miesha Iyer: Coming from a reality show background, contestants wanted to throw me out first

You had seen her in Ace of Space and now, Miesha Iyer is the runner-up of Splitsvilla 12. In an exclusive conversation with TimesofIndia.com, the reality TV star spoke about her nok-jhok filled chemistry with Ashish, advantages and disadvantages of being a reality show previously and why people saw a catty side of her. By: Sukarna Mondal

2/7

Miesha’s ‘don’t mess with me’ attitude

Miesha was portrayed as the stylish diva in the house and with Roadies fame Ashish Bhatia as her partner, the duo became the first ‘Chosen Ones’ in the Splitsvilla 12 villa. Sharing her experience, Miesha said, “It was very different from Ace of Space experience. It is an all and all dating show and it tends to become a bit ‘catty’ than other shows. A lot of you must have seen a different Miesha in Splitsvilla. I became very competitive and ‘catty’. If you are going to be a cat to me, I am gonna be a bigger cat.”

3/7

Disadvantages of coming from a reality show background

Miesha and Ashish had done reality shows before and the former says it wasn’t an advantage. She says, “Most of the girls and boys wanted to get us out and we were always targeted. Everybody wanted to throw us out.”

4/7

On their chemistry

Miesha and Ashish shared a very nok-jhok filled chemistry and contestants often called them fake. Speaking about the same, Miesha said, “Ashish and I surprisingly became the chosen ones/ideal match. And it was then we started talking to each other. We realised of having many similarities. We are different as persons, but we do have some matching qualities.”

5/7

Ashish and her crazy fights

Despite being an ideal match, Miesha and Ashish were always at loggerheads. Miesha says, “Ashish and I have fought so much, it’s crazy. But whenever we used to fight, we would ‘manao’ each other. The beauty of this is, no matter how many times we have fought, we never left each other’s side.”

6/7

All praises for Ashish

Miesha was all praises for her partner Ashish Bhatia. She said, “I really loved his competitive attitude. He would go all out and give his all at the word ‘GO’”

7/7

Her liking for Loka

In the show, Miesha had a liking for another contestant Loka, who happens to be a rapper. Speaking about him, Miesha said, “I saw the competitive spirit in Loka and if Ashish was not my partner, I would have gone with Loka.”
