Exclusive- Sana Raees Khan on her stint with Bigg Boss 17: Bahar murder, drug cases handle karne ke baad, main ande ke liye toh nahi ladd sakti

In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Sana Raees Khan who has been known for her Bigg Boss 17 stint and high-profile celebrity legal cases opened up about her journey in the controversial reality show. The lawyer got candid about her experience, tiffs with the contestants and more. She even shared how she found the fights over eggs quite petty as she had witnessed heinous cases in reality.

Took up the show as I had Diwali vacation nearing

I was already famous as a lawyer, but with Bigg Boss people came to know about my cases and everything. Soon after the docu-series with Indrani Mukherjee was out so people started recognising me. You get that recognition for your work but other than that I don't take Bigg Boss that seriously. I have always said that I did it for a change. For me, at that time Diwali vacation was near and I wanted to do something out of the box. It was a very last-minute decision for me.

I didn't go in the house with the intention to stay

I didn't go with the intention of staying for a long time and winning the show. Had I gone there with that then I would have surely won the show. Regardless of the intention, I stayed inside the house for a long time and people loved me in the show. I am really thankful for that. It was an enriching experience. Sometimes you become aware of the surroundings. In the house, I got a lot of time and due to no tasks, I got to talk to all of them.

4/8

Can't fight for eggs

I used to get astonished looking at certain situations. One contestant was crying foul for eggs inside, Looking at that I was like bahar murder, drug cases handle karne ke baad, main ande ke liye toh nahi ladd sakti. Sometimes I used to sit in the corner and enjoy the fights like a spectator. If someone would poke me then I wouldn't spare them.

Jao mujhe farak nahi padta

Even before coming out of the house, I had cut down their ration into halves. I didn't give a damn about the duties, I was so done with it. When it comes to the show, you had to look for yourself and I did that. By that time I was so done with the duties, jao mujhe farak nahi padta.

6/8

We were asked to sleep on the floor

Sometimes we had sleepless nights in the house, some days we were asked to sleep on the floor as well. I did things inside the house that I had never done in my real life. Cooking was one of them, I had to cook with those who I didn't like at all. Additionally, I was sharing the room, and food, rationing everything with them. There were a few in my room that I couldn't stand. I was very against the room system in my season. The people I was getting along with were in different rooms.

7/8

There were no tasks so people would fight

There was nothing to do, there were no tasks so the housemates kept fighting. The fight would begin and then get extreme on a different level. People were constantly back bitting about each other in the house. Because there were no tasks, all that they had to do was fight and I am not someone who would unnecessarily speak ill of someone.

8/8

On audience saving her every week

Every time the audience would save me I would get anxious about my cases outside. I would wonder what would be happening outside with the cases that I have taken. Before entering the house I had a conversation with the makers about me getting informed about my cases and legal hearings at least through oral information. Though things didn't turn fruitful, I used to get paranoid thinking about my cases though I had my team handling it efficiently.
