Exclusive- Kanwar Dhillon on doing reality shows: I am really keen on doing Khatron Ke Khiladi and I don't mind doing Bigg Boss

Kanwar Dhillon has been winning hearts with his character Sachin in Udne Ki Aasha. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Kanwar got candid about participating in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss. He also shared why he never wanted to do negative roles after Internet Wala Love and more.

I think I would love to do a romcom TV show. Action and all does suit my personality but whenever there has been a tinge of romance, I have received appreciation so I would love to explore that genre this time.

I don't mind doing a seedha sada positive role but I would never do a negative role in TV. I think TV has this issue, if you do a particular role, people start stereotyping you with the same kind of characters. I faced that during Naa Bole Tum, but I didn't have a choice then because it was my first big break and it took me a while to transit into a lead role. Again I experimented during Internet Wala Love and I faced the same, so I decided then and there that I would never do negative roles again.

Pandya Store was also a gamble for me as I didn't want to do an ensemble cast. But I took that risk and I had watched the original show so I was aware that this one was unique. But that doesn't mean I would be open to ensembles going forward. And negative roles are a big no for me now.

I miss working with Alice, also my three brothers from Pandya Store, Kinshuk, Akshay and Mohit. I have been the closest to Krutika ji and Alice from the sets and also shared a loving bond with the brothers, Shiny, Simran and all. The set was like a picnic. We would come, have loads of fun together while shooting and go home. The whole family used to shoot together so I miss all of that. We did the show for around 2.5/3 years so woh ek family bann jaati hai.

This year I am busy with Udne Ki Aasha, and hopefully, if the show turns superhit and continues I will stay busy for 2-3 years with the show. However, if the makers think I am worthy of the show and are interested in approaching me for the show. Why not, I will be open to participating in Bigg Boss.

I would love to do Khatron Ke Khiladi. There are so many things that I want to undo from my system through that show and so many things that I want to explore. I have been a big fan of Khatron Ke Khiladi and Fear Factor. So yes, that is one show that I definitely want to do.
