Exclusive: 'Jiten Nokewal and Hiten Tejwani have been my closest friends on the sets', says Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2's Devashish Chandiramani

The current track of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 has been unveiling major twists. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Devashish Chandiramani talks about the references he took for the character, Josh and Prachi's engagement, and more. Here's what he had to share:

Who has been your friend on the sets of Bade Achhe?

I have got a lot of DMs and they say that we don't look like father and son. Jiten has been a great friend of mine and he helps me a lot with my scenes. Apart from him, even Hiten Tejwani is really close to me and they have been supporting me in the show.

Tell us something about the current track

Currently, with the track, even Raghav is helping Josh and Prachi to come together. There is still a lot more drama in the store as this is still the beginning. I have been receiving some great comments on how a villain can look so good with the female protagonist. So, I am extremely happy to see such a positive response. I want that chemistry to go on and right now they are doing really well together.

Which characters did you refer to for essaying Josh?

I took the reference of the character from Gossip Girls' Chuck Bass. And if we talk about Bollywood then Ranveer Singh from Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl but I feel the mannerisms of Josh are similar to Chuck more than Ranveer.

Be it Krish from Spy Bahu or Josh in Bade Achhe, how do you manage to pick those outfits?

Outfits are not going to leave me. I am sure that I have the personality to pull them off really well. Here there is more jacket kinda looks, just in the Valentine's Day segment, they gave me a silver jacket that reminded me of Krish from Spy Bahu so yeah!

Are you in touch with your Spy Bahu buddies?

I am in touch with all of them, Sayli just sent me a video of me performing. We are all in touch and I keep talking to them. I am all excited to see Ram in Alibaba, he is looking amazing in that character. Can't wait to see those episodes.
