Dream to do Bigg Boss

It was my dream to be on Bigg Boss and it has finally come true. I am feeling on top of the world. I am very happy and excited. I can’t express in words how happy I’m to be here today. (Photo: Instagram)

I did not believe when the offer of Bigg Boss came

The offer of Bigg Boss came to my manager first and he told me that I have to attend a meeting a meeting with the Bigg Boss team. First I did not believe him and I was asked to attend at 12:30. I got ready and attended the meeting. I was asked to give the audition and while I was doing all this I still couldn’t believe it. I was very confident that I won’t be selected but I was selected. I couldn’t believe that I was selected. I felt how can a girl from a poor background can bag a show like this and reach the Bigg Boss house. It all felt like a dream. I am very happy. Not scared of doing household chores

I am never scared of doing work. I have in farm at my village. I used to be out there the entire day under sun working hard in the farm. Nothing can scare me. When a person can work under the sun in farm the entire day how can he/she be scared of daily household chores like cooking, cleaning. These are small things. (Photo: Instagram)

After my father passed away I had to deal with many things

I don’t have any father figure in the house. I don’t have a brother and I am the youngest in the family. My mother often keeps unwell and I look after her and take care of her medical needs. I have struggled a lot in life. After my father passed away I had to deal with many things after my father passed away. (Photo: Instagram)

We did not have food to eat during the struggling days

We did not have food to eat and would be empty stomach for two-two days. I wanted to seek education but never got the opportunity. There was no value for education. I was told whatever you want to do you can do at your husband’s house once you get married. I wanted to get education and move ahead in life and do something. But my mother always wished to have a son because we all are sisters. (Photo: Instagram)

Facing Gender discrimination: When I was born I was given thick milk so that I die

When I was born they tried to kill me. Itna galat vyavahar kiya Gaya tha. Main Marne ke kagaar par thi. Pata nahi kiski kismat se main Bach gayi. When I was born I was given a very thick milk which infants are not supposed to be given. I have struggled a lot in life and managed to reach where I’m today. (Photo: Instagram)

Villagers would call me Nachnewaali

When I started making videos I had to deal with people’s abuses. They would abuse me and the people from the village made my life very difficult. They wanted me to be thrown out of the village and would call me a nachnewaali. Gaaliyaan dete the. I was looked down upon for making videos. They would say whatever would come to their mind. As I don’t have a brother and father in family they would taunt that she doesn’t have any male member so she can do anything to earn money. I was disrespected. (Photo: Instagram)

My mother borrowed money to get my sister married

When my father passed away, my uncle filed a case against my mother and us. He said they are girls and they should get the farms to do farming. They can’t do anything in life. My mother fought the case for 15 years. My mother borrowed money to get my sister married. We did not have a proper house wherever it used to rain, we would take all our belongings and run at a local school and take shelter. (Photo: Instagram)

I’m very happy that my hard work is bearing fruits

I felt I have to do something in life and make my life better. I can’t just sit idle. So what if I’m born as a girl or in a poor family, I have to do something with my life. That’s when I started making videos and worked hard to create content. Now, I’m very happy that my hard work is bearing fruits and I’m going in Bigg Boss. (Photo: Instagram)

This is a tight slap on the faces of all those people who said "Ladkiyaan kya kar paayengi"

I was told ladkiyaan Kya he kar paayengi. Now, this is a tight slap on the faces of all those people who said this. Today, I have two houses of my own in my village, I have a car and have all the luxuries. But I don’t have a father, had he been around I would have been very happy. He would have been very proud of me. (Photo: Instagram)

I hope I erase the difference between a girl child and a boy

I going inside Bigg Boss to prove a point that there is no difference between a girl and boy. My mother still feels that things would have been different if she had a son. Ladka hota toh naam hojaata. I hope I win the show and she says that my Shivani is no less than a son. I hope she says this someday. I’m going to try a lot and give my everything to win the show.
