Life post Bigg Boss 13

A lot of things have changed. A lot of feelings about myself, there is self realisation. There is a lot more clarity in my mind now. Learn to say no or yes. Bigg Boss has taught me everything beautifully. At times we get scared or worried but Bigg Boss teaches you a lot.(Photo: Instagram)

On being a part of Naagin 4

It is a very hit franchise. A lot of people had worked with Balaji, I was the only who hadn't. It was a lovely experience but unfortunately due to lockdown I couldn't shoot any more. I shot for a few episodes, but due to lockdown shooting had to be stopped.(Photo: Instagram)

Are you in touch with Bigg Boss 13 inmates?

I am in touch with everyone. On and off, I am in touch with everyone. I speak with Devoleena and Arti Singh. I think the only good thing that I have gained from Bigg Boss is Devoleena's friendship. It is a gift from Bigg Boss to me. You meet a lot of people but you find friends very rare. She understands me and I understand her pretty well. I love her fire and the way she is. The way she takes care of herself. She is very clear and honest.(Photo: Instagram)

Are you in touch with Sidharth Shukla?

I am in touch with Sidharth on and off. I keep watching his fitness videos, yes I am in touch with him. (Photo: Instagram)

First thing you will do post lockdown?

First thing post lockdown will be I am going to meet my friends. I am going to take proper precautions. I love watching films but I can't even think of going to the theater soon. I am going to take a lot of precautions.(Photo: Instagram)

On her depression phase and how she dealt with it?

I have been in depression but then I realised that I am the only person who is thinking about something that didn't happen with me. Insaan un cheezon ke peeche bhagta hai joh uske paas nahi hoti hai, aap unn cheezon ki value karo jo aapke paas hai. So this is the thing that keeps me going and main kabhi mayoos nahi hoti. There was a time when things didn't work. Aik hi cheez hai jo meri life mein nahi ho pati hai I think that subject is not for me. I will not talk about it but yes I still have my family and friends. I still have my fans. I am sure nothing wrong will happen to me. My fans handle so many things for me so I am not worried.(Photo: Instagram)

On her career from Bhojpuri films to being a TV star

I started my career with a regional film. Then my first show was Raavan, I was playing Mandodri in Raavan on a show on DD. I did Pari Hoon Main, India's first show which had double role. I was the one who played double role and it was directed by BR Chopra. Due to the hectic shooting schedule, I used to not come home for 2-3 days and people started teasing me Padi Hoon Main insteead of Pari Hoon Main. Yes, the journey was definitely not easy. That gave me a lot of kick, if not now then when. Meet Milade Rabba ran for a few days and it soon went off air. Then I got Uttaran and it was amazing. I played a grey character. People loved Tapasya. It was a love and hate relation from viewers. In TV, I got the opportunity to play different roles. Then I got this Naagin.(Photo: Instagram)

On facing rejections in career

If you don't see rejections then you cannot become successful in your life. Every person who is successful today would have gone through a lot of rejections, a lot of demands and a lot of difficult situations. Yes, I think it is important because rejection makes you the person you are. There have been times when my mom wasn't well or my brother got married, there was floods like situation and my family couldn't get through me but even in that situation I was busy working. There were times when I was not feeling well but I had to shoot. I have never left my job and it is what it has made me today.(Photo: Instagram)

What have you learnt from Bigg Boss 13?

I like a lot of clarity in my life. I wasn't expressive, which I learnt in the BB house. Self realisation bhi hua life mein and jhagde bhi bahut kiye hain maine. Aur ussi insaan ko jab pain mein dekha toh maine concern bhi jataya hai and that is a part of life. I am sharing my feelings I have been judged. I have realised that you are your own best friend. I have earned friends too kuch rishtey bhi kamaye hai show ke dauran. kuch mile kuch choot gaye kuch apna sa apne saath reh gaya.(Photo: Instagram)

Started working at an early age of 15

I was cute looking since my childhood. I used to get a lot of offers. I wanted to become an air hostess or choreographer. Ghar ke aise halat they na, my mom was a single parent so kitna karti woh. Then I got a few offers then I thought let us start working. I was doing my college along with my work. Trustees of the college were very helpful,. I started working at a very young age. I was only 15. I did college too and shot for my shoots. I never looked back post Pari hoon Main.(Photo: Instagram)

Work and how she dealt with indecent offers

I have managed to handle myself calmly. I used to be very rude and blunt. I was not scared of anybody so people would think twice before talking to me. That has saved me a lot. And I would say, girls are very smart and they know how to handle things. While I was doing my regional films my mother would come with me so if anything happened then she would handle everything. Obviously I was very young. When I was doing TV, I was giving auditions for 4-5 serials and I would get selected everywhere and I would then get choosy and reject. I used to choose my scripts. Scripts and directors matter a lot. (Photo: Instagram)
