I want to do a show like The Kapil Sharma Show

I feel if I do daily soaps I will get stuck in one format. My talent which even I was not familiar with and I want to explore it more. My first priority would be a non-fiction show like The Kapil Sharma Show which gives me a chance to explore new things and characters. I want to entertain the audience after a tiring day of work. I want to bring smiles to their faces. I would also like to explore films which give me a chance to experiment with roles. I want to do a show or a character where I can play desi roles. A village belle, bhabhi, Devrani, nanad from normal household. I think I would be able to make people laugh. (Photo: Instagram)

I was extremely hurt that I couldn’t win the show

Yes, I was extremely hurt that I couldn’t win the show because I had given my 100 percent to it. Winning the show and trophy meant a lot to me because of the community I belong to. I wanted to be an inspiration for the young girls from my community. Usually girls from our community get married at an early age and they are not given education. Infact, when a girl is born they consider it as a burden, so I wanted to change that mindset and set an example. I felt if I would have won the show many would have got inspired and they would have also given a chance to their girls. But I believe in destiny and whatever was in my destiny I got that which is the audience's love. I won their hearts and it is a big deal for me. I want to motivate the young girls to not give up their dreams and instead chase them. (Photo: Instagram)

My father did not want me to come to Mumbai and make a career here

There were issues between my parents because of my career. My father did not want me to come to Mumbai and make a career here as we had no support. But I wanted to try and my mother supported me and my father put a condition that either you stay with your children or me. My mom decided to choose my career and she accompanied me here to Mumbai. My father wanted me to get married but my mother supported my dreams. My mother stayed with me in each and every struggle. When I saw my parents on the finale I couldn’t control my tears and started crying. I saw myself winning the show and I couldn’t hold back my tears. I would get compliments and I felt I deserved to be in Top 2. (Photo: Instagram)

The entire India started knowing me and recognising me

When I went inside the show only the constituency knew me but when I came out of Bigg Boss 16, entire India started knowing and recognising me. In fact, I am getting calls from places like London, America that they liked my journey and game. I am very happy that I won many hearts. (Photo: Instagram)

Archana on her fight with Vikkas Manaktala

I regret saying a few things to Vikkas Manaktala during a fight. But I also believe that I was pushed towards giving such a reaction. I was not the first one to comment on his family. He commented on my political career, then father and that’s when I lost my cool and I said something which I shouldn't have. So, I regret that. (Photo: Instagram)

Archana on focusing on politics and showbiz

I have an interest in both politics and entertainment. But I am more focused towards the acting and entertainment industry. As far as politics is considered I want to do social service for my community and I will continue doing it. I want to focus on my career as an actress because now I have gained fame from Bigg Boss 16 and I don’t want to leave it midway. So I will focus on both. (Photo: Instagram)
