Covid-19 scare: Bigg Boss 13's Himanshi Khurana to Taarak’s Priya Ahuja Rajda; celebs who have tested positive in recent times

In the recent times, many TV celebs tested positive for Covid-19. Celebs took to social media to inform fans and also aware people on the importance of maintaining safety precautions. Take a look at the list of the celebrities, who are now in home isolation recovering from the virus.

Bigg Boss 13 fame and Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana has tested positive for COVID-19. The actress had participated in the farmer's protest after the recent farm bill passed in the Parliament. Himanshi Khurana took to her Instagram account and informed everyone. She wrote: "I want to inform you all that I have tested positive for COVID-19 even after taking proper precautions. As you all know that I was the part of the protest day before yesterday and the area was crowded so I thought to get the test done before I go for my shoot today evening. I just wanted to inform people who came in my contact to get your test done and please take proper precaution in the protest. It's my request to all the people protesting to not forget that we are going through pandemic so please take proper care (sic)."

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Rita Reporter aka Priya Ahuja Rajda took to her social media account to inform her friends and fans that she has been tested COVID-19 positive. The actress shared a long note on her Instagram account and shared that she is asymptomatic. She asked her friends and relatives to get themselves checked if they have come in contact with her. The actress mentioned in her post how she was at home and still got the virus.

Actor-couple Gurmeet Choudhary and wife Debina Bonnerjee have tested positive for coronavirus. Gurmeet took to his social media accounts to inform his friends and family about the same. The two have been under home quarantine for the past six days. “My wife Debina & I have tested positive for COVID-19 today. We are touch wood doing fine and are taking all the necessary precautions in isolation at home. We request all those who have been in contact with us to take care. Thank you all for your love and support,” Gurmeet shared on Twitter.

Debina and Gurmeet's close friends Vikaas Kalantri and his wife Priyanka have also tested COVID positive. The actor took to social media accounts to inform his friends and fans about being infected by the virus. The actor mentioned in his post that he and his wife Priyanka are under home quarantine. The two have mild symptoms and have isolated themselves. Vikaas wrote, “He wrote, "My wife Priyanka & myself have tested positive for Covid19 today. We are home quarantined with mild symptoms & are taking utmost precautions and care. We have isolated ourselves. To any1 who has come in contact with us recently pl take necessary precautions.”

Shaadi Mubarak actress Rajeshwari Sachdev, who tested positive for COVID-19 around two weeks ago is currently recovering and has completed her 14 days quarantine period. The actress shared a long post on her Instagram account in which she has beautifully summed up her quarantine period. In her post, Rajeshwari mentioned how the isolation period has been for her. She compared the isolation period with war within and out and shared that mind plays games. She thanked God for the strength and support of family and friends and the doctors who were just one call away.

Actor Ansh Bagri, who was last seen in the show 'Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji', is the latest television actor to have tested positive for COVID-19. He told BT, “I fell ill around six days ago and immediately consulted my family doctor. He prescribed some medicines and also asked me to undergo the test for coronavirus. On Tuesday, I got the test result, which came in positive. I feel weak, and have mild fever and diarrhoea.”

Reality TV star Divya Agarwal just shared on social media that her younger brother Prince Agarwal has tested positive for Covid-19. Along with the post, Divya wrote a heartwarming note alongside wishing her brother a speedy recovery. She wrote, “I’m the naughty kid of the family, you have been the nicest human I know…Choti… I know you worried but be strong. I wish I could come to you but you have to be quarantined as you are tested COVID POSITIVE…take all the precautions and care necessary. I’ll see you super soon! @prince_agarwal_ You are my brave baby brother (whoever came in contact with my brother in a week or more please get yourself tested).”

Ishqbaaz actress Navina Bole informed her fans and everyone that she has tested positive for COVID-19. The actress shared some of her old pictures and spoke about feeling confident in one's own skin. Navina Bole took to her Instagram account and informed that she is recovering in isolation, and asked her fans to pray for her. She wrote: "Feeling sexy is a woman's birthright! And being comfortable in her skin is a bloody fundamental! Also did i mention im #covid_19 positive and have been in isolation recovering . . #needyourprayers !! P.s - these pics were clicked before I was diagnosed with the dreaded #coronovirus2020 #staysafestayhome (sic)"

Mere Dad Ki Dulhan actress Shweta Tiwari, who tested positive for Covid-19 a few days ago, is quarantined at home. It is no secret that Shweta loves to read and that is exactly what she has been doing. The actress is under quarantine until today (October 1). She had earlier shared with Etimes TV, "I developed a cough on September 16. The sequence of marriage with Varun was very important and even otherwise, I felt I should not take any chances. I headed to get myself tested."

Rrahul Sudhir, who plays Vansh in 'Ishq Mein Marjawan 2', tested positive for COVID-19 on September 23. There are more people, who have contracted the infection. The cast and crew underwent a test immediately after Rrahul’s result came positive. Besides some members of the unit, actress Chandni Sharma and director Noel Smith have been infected, too. Actor Jay Zaveri, who hasn’t been shooting for the show since 10 days has also tested positive.
