Swami Om, who gained popularity after his participation in reality show Bigg Boss, has passed away. Reportedly, he was keeping unwell for the last few months. Swami Om had created quite a star on Bigg Boss which even led the makers to show him the door. Even after his stint, he continued to make headlines but for all the wrong reasons. Accused of molesting and threatening a woman
The former BB contestant was accused of molesting and threatening a woman in 2017 for which he sought anticipatory bail. According to the FIR lodged, the woman was allegedly wrongfully restrained by Swami Om and Anand when she was going home and they started abusing her and indulged in objectionable acts.
Proclaimed Uttrakhand earthquake happened because he is ill treated
In 2017, he created headlines by claiming that the recent Uttarakhand earthquake happened because he was ill treated on Bigg Boss. In a video, the self proclaimed Godman claimed that he knew about the earthquake and predicted another huge one if people continued to insult him. He added this was done by Lord Shiva, whose Bhakt he is, for the ill-treatment he gets from people.
When he called Salman an ISI agent
When he was shown the door, the BB contestant alleged in a news interview that the makers of the show kidnapped him. He called Salman Khan an ISI agent and anti-national. He said Salman once brought a vegetarian dish which was cooked with fish oil and had drugs.
When he threw water on the news anchor
Post his eviction in January 2017, Swami Om was invited to a news channel but things took an ugly turn when he got into a tiff with a panel member after he was accused of filthy behaviour and indecency. It led Swami Om to throw water on the news anchor in a fit of rage.
When he was beaten for abusing a woman on a news channel
Post his eviction, when Swami Om went to a news channel for an interview, he reportedly passed notorious comments on a woman. This led to a fight in which Swami Om was beaten.
When he threw his pee on Bani J
What led to his eviction from the house was when he threw his pee on co-contestants Bani J and Rohan Mehra. The outrageous act led the makers to throw him out of the show.
When he threatened Salman Khan and the makers
Swami Om threatened to halt the shooting of the finale of Bigg Boss 10. He also told the makers he and his union would go violent on them if he wasn't declared the winner.
