Rapper MC Stan, who is currently seen as a contestant on Bigg Boss 16, has had quite a controversial life. It's not just his abusive lyrics that have been slammed but also his personal life has been under the scanner after he was accused of sending men to assault his ex-girlfriend. Popular songs that brought him fame

MC Stan, who started as a qawali performer at the age of 12, found fame when he switched to rapping. MC Stan rose to popularity with his song Wata, which has over 21 million views, and his dissing rap battle with Emiway Bantai. The popular singer's two albums Insaan and Tadipaar have won him accolades. His song Khuja Mat has over 35 million YouTube views and the popular number Aastaghfirullah turned around his life. Rags to riches tale

MC Stan has been very open about rising from the slums of Pune and making it big on his own through his talent and hard work. The 23-year-old infact calls himself 'Basti Ki Hasti'. Some of his popular songs and rap battles have helped him reach close to 3 million subscribers on YouTube. He also has 2.3 million followers on Instagram. MC Stan, who once had nothing, now boasts of owning 'Assi hazaar ke joote (shoes worth Rs 80k)'. In Bigg Boss 16, too, he talked about owning a snake chain worth over a crore. Accused of assaulting girlfriend

MC Stan landed in trouble when he was accused by his ex-girlfriend Auzma Shaikh of sending men to thrash her. After their break-up in March, MC Stan posted her address on social media which resulted in many of his followers troubling her and giving her rape threats. She too posted his manager and his address on social media. It led MC Stan to file a complaint against her. Later, he sent his men to thrash her. Reportedly, they assaulted Azma and their scuffle led her to get injuries on her face. After this, she filed an FIR against him.

Participation in Bigg Boss 16

The biggest turning point in MC Stan's life has been Bigg Boss. The rapper is in the house and even though he initially said that he is not feeling the vibe and wants to leave, he is being praised by fans for taking a stand for his friends. He recently supported Gori Nagori after she was called 'standard less' by Sreejita De.
