Bigg Boss 16 is all set to premiere on October 1. The buzz around the reality show has gotten stronger with time as the makers have started to reveal all that's in store for the viewers. Here's all that you need to know about the new season including the list of confirmed contestants, theme of the house, Salman Khan's fee and more.

Several promos have been released this week giving the audience a glimpse of the contestants they would see on the show. Gautam Vig, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sumbul Touqeer, Abdu Rozi and rapper MC Stan are part of the contestant list this time.

The house is going to be grander and more opulent than before. Like every year, it has been designed by none other than Omung Kumar.

Enlivening the grand circus era and designed by Omung Kumar B. and Vanita Omung Kumar, the four bedrooms are called the 'Fire Room', 'Black And White Room', 'Cards Room', and 'Vintage Room'. What these rooms have in store for the contestants remains to be seen. The elaborate set-up of the bedrooms also stirs speculation about what the contestants must overcome to earn them. How will they earn these rooms and what BIGG BOSS has in store for them.

Like the previous few seasons, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is going to return as the host of the show. His inimitable style makes him stand out on the show. His clothes will be designed by Ashley Robello.

While Salman Khan may have chosen to remain silent about how much he is going to charge for the show, he quashed reports stating that he will be getting Rs 1000 crore. At the press conference, he said, "All those reports about my fees are untrue. If I ever get paid Rs 1000 crore I would never work in my life. I actually need this amount as I have so many other expenses like lawyers. They are no less than Salman Khan. My earning is not even one fourth. These false reports are read by the income tax and ED department too."

The biggest change in the game this time is going to be Bigg Boss playing along with the contestants. This has been something that all the promos of the show have promoted. The tagline of BB 16 in fact is, 'Game badlega kyunki Bigg Boss khud khelega'.

Another change this time is the days of the Weekend Ka Vaar when the viewers will get to meet Salman Khan. It will now air on Fridays and Saturdays instead of Sundays.

There'll be no celeb guests living in the glass house this time. Even the contestants won't have to quarantine themselves before entering the show unlike last year.
