Bigg Boss 15: Makers to carry out elimination in coffin; netizens slam them, 'Having a theme like this is triggering and pathetic'

The makers of Bigg Boss 15 are leaving no stone unturned to raise the entertainment quotient of the show. However, the makers went a bit too far by announcing the elimination and introducing the coffin. Netizens aren't pleased with this and have tweeted about how death isn't a joke and it can't be associated with a game like this. Read more tweets: (All Photos - Twitter)

In the promo, Shamita Shetty is seen crying and saying that she doesn't want Neha Bhasin or her brother Rajiv Adatia to go home. Karan Kundrra asks her to eliminate Neha Bhasin as she is strong. To which, Shamita says that she can't let her go. Nishant Bhat is seen carrying a bag in his hand and saying 'sorry' to Jay Bhanushali. Pratik Sehajpal, on the other hand is heard saying that he's feeling bad because somebody would be evicted because of him. Rajiv and Neha are seen crying in the promo whereas the boys push the coffin inside, hinting that the elimination process is complete.

A user slammed the promo and wrote: "But I really didn't like the concept of a coffin. It's associated with death. Death isn't a game and death isn't a joke. I hated this @EndemolShineIND (sic)"

Another user, who was hurt by this promo, wrote: "what is need of using coffin here this is not a good sign dead people are carried away in coffins please this is offensive (sic)"

A Twitter user asked the makers of Bigg Boss 15 if they have started to lack creativity and wrote: "In tough times like these ... where there is death and disease everywhere in the world for a couple of years . Having a theme like this is triggering and pathetic . Is all creativity dead too after originality. #BiggBoss15."

Another Bigg Boss viewer didn't appreciate the usage of a coffin for the elimination task. The user wrote: "coffin? disgusted creative team of bigg boss swooping all time low."

The usage of coffin to eliminate the contestant hasn't gone down well with the viewers. It has fetched some strong reactions and another user said, "Very wrong way to eliminate the coffin!! Coffin doesn't give you positive vibes."

A user reminded that the same stint was used in Bigg Boss 8 too, where they eliminated Upen Patel in a coffin. "It’s very wrong however this is not the first time they did this they did this with @upenpatelworld in season 8 as well it’s really wrong," wrote the user.
