Bigg Boss 15 Grand Finale: Gauahar Khan takes a dig at Tejasswi Prakash’s win; Kamya Panjabi, Bipasha Basu and others call Pratik Sehajpal the ‘winner’

Tejasswi Prakash lifted the coveted Bigg Boss 15 trophy last night. The Swaragini actress was proclaimed the winner of Bigg Boss 15. With her winning the season, Pratik Sehajpal became the first runner up followed by Karan Kundrra. Bigg Boss win has been one of the most celebratory moments but this time it didn’t look like one. Instead, it was quite low-key owing to a little celebration on the stage as well as outside. Moreover, after the winner announcement, fans, avid followers and several celebrities expressed their displeasure with the decision. Many lauded Pratik for his journey and asserted that he was the ‘deserving winner’. Here’s a look at what reactions emerged on Twitter after Tejasswi Prakash won Bigg Boss 15:

Soon after the winning moment was aired, Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “LoL!!! The silence in the studio at the announcement said it all . #bb15 there is only one deserving winner , n the world saw him shine . #PratikSehajpaI you won hearts . Every single guest who went in , you were their fave , the public loves you . Keep your head held high.”

Anita Hassanandani, who had once visited the Bigg Boss house too was shocked to see merely any reaction from the audience on the winner announcement. Speaking about the ‘awkward last moments’ of the finale, she wrote, “Is it me or the last few mins of the grand finale were actually that awkward!!! #BB15 @PratikSehajpal6 @ShamitaShetty You won hearts.”

Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary too don’t seem to approve of Tejasswi’s win. Debina showed her love and support for Pratik Sehajpal and said, “The winner is in the silence of the audience LOUD and clear #PratikSehajpaI you have won hearts. And that is true winning. #PratikFam” Meanwhile, Gurmeet wrote, “Well played boy #PratikSehajpaI Thought he would win the trophy .. But he won hearts #PratikFam”

Bigg Boss 7’s VJ Andy also talked about the ‘silence’ in the studio and wrote, “The silence in the studio when #tejasswiprakash won says it all!, there was a roar when everyone thought #PratikSehajpaI won. Pratik #BiggBoss15Finale is my winner!”

Kamya Panjabi, who has been an ardent follower of Bigg Boss over the years called Pratik Sehajpal as her winner. Taking on to Twitter, the actress turned politician wrote, “#PratikSehajpal you are my winner n always will be! U did extremely well, loved ur journey n ur passion towards the game n the show! Stay blessed, lots of love n blessings for ur future @realsehajpal”

Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Jariwala and husband Parag Tyagi were also disappointed with Pratik Sehajpal not being the winner of this season. Parag took to Twitter and shared, “Feel numb when the only contestant @realsehajpal who lived, breathed, gave his heart and soul to the show, doesn’t hold the trophy.. you won hearts bro..” And, Shefali wrote, “#PratikSehajpaI u won hearts …”

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Munmun Dutta, who entered the show as a challenger for a day sent her bet wishes for Pratik. In a Tweet, she wrote, “You won millions of hearts with your honesty and rawness in the show . You deserve wonderful things in life . You should be very proud of yourself and of your journey . It was a pleasure to watch you . Stay blessed and happy . #PratikSehajpaI”

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu also showed her support for Pratik Sehajpal. After the finale, she took to her Instagram story and shared a picture of Pratik. Along with the picture, Bipasha wrote, “God bless you @pratiksehajpal You are a complete winner.”

Akanksha Puri took to Twitter and shared that she is disheartened to see that Pratik and Shamita didn’t win. She wrote, “It’s disheartening to see my favourites @ShamitaShetty @realsehajpal didn’t win the Trophy but you won millions and millions of heart What a beautiful journey !! Proud of you guys ”

Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment and anger on Tejasswi Prakash’s win. Starting from ‘Tatti Channel’, ‘Bheja’, ‘Khairati Winner Bheja’ to ‘Bigg Boss Nalla Show’ and a lot such eccentric hashtags are trending on Twitter. While some are calling out the channel, others are calling their favourites namely Pratik, Karan and Shamita are the ‘deserving winner’.
