Bigg Boss 15 contestant Tejasswi Prakash: Dating rumours to daily soap controversies; all you need to about the TV actress

Tejasswi Prakash is all set to step inside the ‘jungle theme’ Bigg Boss 15 house. A promo released by the channel, gave a glimpse of her as the confirmed contestant. Dressed in a silver metallic short dress, Tejasswi steps inside the jungle in high heels with her luggage. The TV actress has done a fair share of daily soaps and reality shows. Tejasswi has been offered the reality show many times and she declined season 14 as well. Last year she told TOI, “I have been offered 'Bigg Boss' for quite a few times. I think the first time I got the offer was when I was doing 'Swaragini'. This year too I was offered the show, but right now, I would like to take up a fiction show. You have to do what you are here to do, which is acting. I’m primarily an actress. Of course, as they say, never say never. Tejasswi is a qualified engineer. She has a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University. However, she always harboured the dream of becoming an actress and started her career at the age of 18.

Tejasswi has done reality shows like Kitchen Champion 5 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. She has also made special appearances in shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil, Comedy Nights Live, Comedy Nights Bachao and more. Initially, Tejasswi was considered to be one of the strongest contestants in this stunt-based reality show. However, an injury cut short her stay in the show. Her eye got severely injured during one of the underwater stunts. She had shared pictures of the injury, where the eye turned completely red due to the hemorrhage. Talking about her journey in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, Tejasswi never got a "fear ka phanda" and has been a consistent performer, who performed every stunt effortlessly. As the two participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, fans saw a sizzling chemistry and bond between Shivin Narang and Tejasswi and shipped them on social media as #TeVin. However, clearing all the rumours, Tejasswi had shared, “I really don’t know what bond has fans seen between us. Yes, he is a good friend. That’s it. But there is nothing more than that. All people are asking me and even my friends are asking if I am dating him. I am not dating him. I thought they are reacting seeing our friendship. Tejasswi became the talk of the town in 2017 when her show Pehredaar Piya Ki courted headlines due to the content of the show. Tejasswi was paired opposite young child actor Affan Khan. Makers had to pull the plug on the show as people objected to Tejasswi’s character getting married to a 9-yr-old boy. Tejasswi revealed the entire controversy helped her get noticed. While speaking to ETimes TV a while back, she had shared, “The content was bashed but people were like, ‘Who’s that girl’. That’s how I got Rohit Shetty’s film. I didn’t receive any backlash. The film happened after Pehredaar Piya Ki. So in a way all the hype helped me.
