Bigg Boss 14: Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla confess about their troubled marriage on national TV; a look at their love story

Rubina Dilaik is one of the strongest contestants in Bigg Boss 14. Her strong mind and will power is being appreciated by many. But the latest confession of her troubled marriage on national TV has stunned everyone. A look at how she met husband Abhinav Shukla, more on their love story and marriage.

In a task, where contestants had to reveal a never known before secret, Rubina discloses that both of them were about to get divorced and had given each other the grace time till November this year. And this was one reason because of which they chose to enter Bigg Boss 14 together. Rubina’s confession also puts Abhinav in distress.

Not just this, Rubina shares she entered Bigg Boss to give their marriage a chance and mend thir differences which other contestants finds hard to believe.

While the couple stood strong together and playing the game as a couple, off late there were cracks in their relationship that reflected during the game. Abhinav interrupting in Rubina’s game strategies to the latter telling him to ‘shut up’, their differences didn’t go unnoticed.

Rubina and Abhinav quite enjoyed their lockdown period but their 2nd anniversary plans couldn’t be fulfilled owing to the same. However, during a live interaction with ETimes TV, Rubina had revealed, “This period has been an intimate time with myself. I am really working towards getting to know myself and my relationship with Abhinav. I am giving my home a touch of my own. Can’t tell you how time flies away. I have been busier than ever.”

Abhinav, being an adventure enthusiast, drove with wife Rubina to her hometown in Himachal Pradesh. The couple spent time in the hills with Rubina’s family and had quite an adventurous time. Rubina did give a glimpse of their family time spent in the hills.

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla walked down the aisle on June 21, 2018. The couple had a lavish destination wedding in Shimla and Ludhiana. It was a beautiful event in the presence of the couple’s families and friends.

Interestingly, the couple also penned their own wedding vows. Rubina told BT, “We had our own version of the seven vows, which Abhinav has written beautifully. Each vow touched my heart deeply."

The couple dated each other for four years before tying the knot. They met each other in 2015 at a friend’s place. And he was instantly drawn towards her during Ganpati celebrations. Rubina said in a interview, “Change is the only constant. We all change as per time and relationship also changes and you need to adapt. You need to grow together. We have seen each other grow as a person and also acknowledged it.”
