Bigg Boss 14 premiere date, timing, celebrity line-up and more REVEALED

Bigg Boss 14 will air its premiere episode on October 3 (Saturday) at 9 pm. The show will air its episodes on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 10.30 to 11.30 pm IST.

Considering the pandemic, all of Salman Khan's promos declare that this year Bigg Boss will change '2020 ka scene'. With the introduction of new elements in the house, it certainly seems there are several twists in store for the viewers.

The pandemic has led the makers to introduce a host of facilities in the house including a restaurant, spa, theatre and a mall. This time around the house is even more vibrant and prettier. These luxurious treats, however, would have to be earned by the contestants.

While all the contestants are mostly revealed during the premiere night, this time the show's press conference introduced the first confirmed contestant and that is singer Jaan Kumar Sanu (Kumar Sanu's son)

Just like the previous seasons, this one will have no commoners. The all celebrity line-up list includes popular names like Jasmin Bhasin, Nikki Tamboli, Sara Gurpal, Nishant Singh Malkani, Eijaz Khan, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla among others.

Popular names like Gauahar Khan, Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla will be seen as guests on the premiere night. The season is also expected to have popular contestants from the previous seasons.

The upcoming season of the show will yet again be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. He has done the same for the previous 10 seasons and has come to be known as the face of the show. His 'Weekend Ka Vaar' is a big hit with the viewers.

Reports claim that the Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, who hosts the show, is going to be paid anywhere between Rs 15 to 20 crore per episode. The actor's name has been associated with the show for long, and this doesn't come as a surprise.

Bigg Boss first started in 2006. It is an adaptation of an international reality show. In the show, contestants survive 100 days under the constant glare of multiple cameras. They are given different tasks to do in the house everyday, and their survival depends on their performance.
