Balika Vadhu fame Avika Gor talks about sacrifices and changes she underwent to transform herself; take a look at her glamorous pictures

Balika Vadhu fame Avika Gor, who played the role of Anandi in the show, lost tremendous weight during the lockdown. Ever since she has been posting glamorous pictures of herself and the struggle she underwent to achieve such a fit physique. Let's take a look at her pictures here: (Photo: Instagram)

Encouraging people to use sustainable fabric

Avika Gor looks stunning in this black shorts and khadi printed jacket. She encouraged everyone to wear clothes of this material through her post. She wrote: "The clothes might not always look like the "generically attractive" clothes that we wear, but once you wear them you're bound to not just look beautiful but also feel beautiful. Every small step towards change matters." (Photo: Instagram)

About her perception

Avika Gor looks gorgeous in this shimmery white gown paired with diamond jewellery. She spoke about perception in this picture. The actress wrote: "Perception is almost never the reality, and yet, we always think of our perception as nothing but the truth. When I looked at various successful people(actors, business people, etc), I often thought that they got lucky or they were blessed or that they were at the right place at the right time." Sacrifices she went through to achieve her goal

Avika Gor further spoke about the sacrifices she went through to achieve the desired body. She wrote: "Even when I used to think of my own story, I used to think that maybe I just got lucky to get so much so early in life. But recently when I looked back at my journey, I can see all that I had to do to get to where I am & all that I received in the process. And that made me realize how much effort every successful person puts to consistently perform better. I can now see how many sacrifices it takes to actually achieve any goal - a personal goal, a professional goal, a financial goal, a fitness goal, even a mental health goal." (Photo: Instagram)

'Be the woman you needed as a girl'

In this picture, Avika Gor is dressed in a formal yet sexy suit and she is oozing oomph in these pictures. She captioned the picture: "Be the woman you needed as a girl." Her contemporaries like Aly Goni, Krishna Mukherjee, and many others were left awestruck to see her drastic transformation and congratulated her. (Photo: Instagram)

Winning over negative energies

Avika Gor posted her picture in a stylish saree and asked, "Do you ever feel scared of being alone? Scared of your thoughts, your presence?" She narrated her experience by stating, "Until last year, I would constantly ponder upon everything wrong with the world, my life & I. So, I always surrounded myself with people to distract myself. I would constantly get a feeling that I was wasting my time, that I could use the time to write, create or learn something new. But, I thought I needed their energy to keep going or I would go down the spiral of negative thoughts again." (Photo: Instagram)

Importance of enjoying one's own company

"With a lot of conscious effort & self-preservation, I've started to enjoy my own company. Sometimes I write, sometimes I dance/workout & sometimes I just sit with my thoughts, allowing them to wander. Even when I'm with people now, I add energy to the group, I crack silly jokes & I give back as much as I receive. So, I understand your fear. I've been there for years, and I urge you to try to spend a few minutes with yourself today. No mobile, no book, just you & your thoughts. Start small, but start soon. Share your thoughts with me?
