Are Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai the Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta of Bigg Boss 13?

Actors Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai’s nasty fights and arguments have taken over Bigg Boss 13. Does this ring a bell? During season 11, a similar thing happened and contestants Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta’s fights worked in favour of the show. Viewers are comparing Rashami-Sidharth to Vikas-Shilpa and the duo in fact has quite a similar journey in the house. Let’s take a look.

Just like Vikas-Shilpa, Sidharth and Rashami were also co-workers. They shared screen space in Dil Se Dil Tak and were on-screen lovers. During season 11’s premiere episode, Shilpa had shared with host Salman Khan about how she was thrown out of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain when Vikas was the channel head. In the same manner during Bigg Boss 13, Rashami revealed that Sidharth Shukla tried to get her sacked from the show, but the makers stood by her.

When Shilpa Shinde was shown the door from Bhabhi Ji... she filed a case against the makers of the show and also blamed Vikas to be behind it. Similarly, in a recent episode, Rashami opened up with Devoleena about her off-screen fight with Sidharth Shukla. She states that he used to abuse her on the sets.

While fighting with each other and sitting with their camps, Rashami and Sidharth are seen revealing secrets about each other. While sitting with his friends Sidharth told Abu and Asim that Rashami has the habit of going to people and crying and she has been doing this for long now. Rashami also while discussing with Devoleena revealed that Sidharth had tried to make her leave the show. She also informed her friends about his anger issues and that he can't tolerate hot conditions. In fact, Rashami's close friend Paras has disclosed things like Sidharth going to rehab in one of the episodes. Shilpa and Vikas too had revealed few harmless secrets about each other.

Vikas tried to iron out his differences number of times with Shilpa but nothing worked. In the initial episodes of Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth and Rashami too tried to clear the misunderstanding and animosity that exists between them but their attempts have been futile. Either, Sidharth’s anger issues or Rashami’s I don’t care attitude plays a spoilsport.

Sidharth and Rashami have been blaming each other since the day they entered the BB13 house. From accusing Sidharth of abusing her while she was his co-star in Dil Se Dil Tak, to trying to sabotage her career by asking the makers to throw Rashami out of the show, the actress has levied some serious accusations on Sidharth. Shukla has blamed Rashami for always playing the woman card and going and crying in front of others.

During Bigg Boss 12, Shilpa and Vikas rivalry saw housemates divided into two camps. Though it was for a short while, something similar is happening this time too. Sidharth and Rashami’s growing fights has divided the housemates. While Asim, Abu, Shehnaz, Arri are supporting Sid, Devoleena, Mahira, Paras, Siddhartha Dey and Shefali are on Rashami’s side. Time and again these two are even seen manipulating few housemates so that they have their support.

Complaining to Bigg Boss: Recently, Sidharth Shukla requested Bigg Boss that he needs to talk to him. He was seen complaining to BB that Rashami is falsely accusing him of inappropriately touching her. In Bigg Boss 11, Vikas had also complained to Bigg Boss several times against Shilpa Shinde and had requested to let him leave the show.

Since the time Rashami and Sidharth have entered the house, they have got involved in a number of fights. Whether it is related to doing household chores, during tasks or nominations, the two have been fighting with each other. Bigg Boss 11 contestants Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta also fought for the entire season and viewers enjoyed their fights. The show fetched good TRPs all thanks to their quarrels. In BB13 too, Rashami and Sidharth's fights are keeping viewers entertained.
