Archana Puran Singh's sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan have a cook-off with their homegrown veggies; Parmeet Sethi says, 'Ayush ne toh Italian thali bana di'

In their latest ‘Ghar Pe MasterChef’ vlog, Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi challenged their sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, to a fun kitchen face-off. The boys whipped up special dishes, sharing laughter and family time. In a cheeky twist, they pretended to cut their hands, leaving Archana shocked and furious, though it all ended in smiles.

Parmeet and Archana's fun banter

Parmeet playfully said, “This is practice for our boys to become good husbands for their future wives, who will be lucky!” Archana quickly chimed in, “Like I’ve been lucky! I don’t know how to cook, but I’m a good wife.” Laughing, Parmeet added, “She’s lucky because I do know how to cook!”

Ayushmaan wants a PJ free dad

Ayushmaan took on the challenge with his signature pumpkin sauce pasta, while Aaryamann kept it classic with a three-cheese sandwich and pesto dip. As Ayushmaan listed out his ingredients, including smoked paprika, Parmeet couldn’t resist a dad joke, “Non-smoking kahan hai?” To which Ayushmaan fired back with a grin, “Can I get a non-PJ dad instead?”

Aaryamann leaves the pan on high flame

As they begin cooking, Aary ends up leaving the pan on high flame and going out of the kitchen, Parmeet screams at him and tells, 'how will they cook the dish like this?' While Ayushmaan's pumpkin falls down as he tries to cut it.

Aaryamann again pulls off a prank

As both boys began chopping veggies, Aaryamann suddenly pretended to cut his hand, turning around with a cheeky “April Fool!” Archana panicked, scolding him gently, “Oh my God, it’s a joke, right? Don’t do that, I got really scared.” Just as she caught her breath, Ayushmaan joined in, screaming and laughing as he hugged and kissed his mom. Archana, caught between laughter and exasperation, sighed, “Terrible children! Everyone says they’re good kids, they’re not!”

Boys handpick basil and cherry tomatoes

Ayushmaan then gave a detailed recipe of how he cooked the pasta without the cheese or any dairy products. Ayush and Aary then took a trail to their garden and picked fresh cherry tomatoes and basil for their dishes. Ayush shared, 'Mom taught me Timatar, I know it is called Tamatar, but I still can't help it.' Looking at the cherry tomatoes, Parmeet added that he was the one who planted them. Aary then picked the basil leaves for his sauce and made a pun intended joke.

Parmeet calls Ayush's dish Italian thali

As the boys reached their final step of the dish, Ayush carefully plated his pasta with the grilled veggies that he had picked, and Aary kept it simple by plating the sandwiches with his dip. While looking at Ayush's dish, Parmeet said, 'Ayush ne toh Italian thali bana di.'

Archana and Parmeet give standing ovation

As the vlog wrapped up, it was time for the final verdict. Archana and Parmeet tasted both the pasta and the sandwich and loved them equally. Unable to pick a winner, they gave both Aaryamann and Ayushmaan a warm standing ovation, their faces beaming with pride. It was less about competition and more about a beautiful family moment, full of love and laughter.
