Ali Baba actor Jared Albert Savaille recalls his acting debut; says, “Mahesh Bhatt sir picked me to play lead in his TV show, he’s my God father”
Child actor Jared Albert Savaille, known for featuring in television shows like Dil Jaise Dhadke... Dhadakne Do, Imlie, Woh To Hai Albelaa, Ali Baba among others recently recalled his acting debut. He walked down the memory lane and recalled how he marked his debut in showbiz industry and got his first acting break from a TV show.
He said, "I was very social and talkative since I was a little boy. My mom says when I was just 4 years old, a brand was after them to allow me to feature in their advertisement. And my parents agreed and who knew it was a destiny written for me to became an actor. I was very young to enjoy an opportunity to travel Thailand for shoots. And during that time I got my first acting project, marking my debut in 2017 film Dear Maya, which featured beautiful Manisha Koirala ma'am."
He continued, "With no plans I became part of showbiz, and I started enjoying my profession. Acting became part of my life as it was teaching me, helping me to earn love and appreciation. I remember in February 2020, I was blessed with a huge break in filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, TV show Dil Jaise Dhadke... Dhadakne Do! I was playing the role of feisty Kid and that was the titular role Yug Gautam. And for this show I along with my mom shifted to the dream city Mumbai."
The young actor credits Film Director Mahesh Bhatt as his God father. He added, "Mahesh sir is my God father, I remember he hand picked by him for the role. And even I performed a Ram Leela Rap song- which was shot near the ghats of Varanasi. I had to learn the entire song overnight and record it the following day. So all this activities was helping me to grow as an actor. But my first show indefinitely halted on 27 March 2020 owing COVID-19 outbreak after the shootings were stalled. But once TV industry accepts you, your hardwork pays and if not today, tomorrow you'll enjoy the success. I was soon getting new opportunities."
He concluded talking about his current acting projects, "And currently I'm delighted to explore the digital platform. I'm currently seen essaying the younger version of Siddhant Chaturvedi's role as Yudhra Rathore in action/thriller movie Yudhra. And my upcoming project is a short film based on bullying which has already been selected for several International Film festivals and will be streaming very soon." On the professional front Jared, who is currently 14 years old also enjoys immense popularity for his appearance in television commercials.
