Kawach Mahashivratri actress Deepika Singh had a grand birthday bash at a plush city hotel last night (July 25) and it was attended by close her friends from the television industry. The night turned to be special for more than one reason. Check out some pics from the party.
Birthday girl in black
Deepika Singh turned up in a shimmery black off-shoulder gown and looked way too excited to ring in her special day. The actress was accompanied by her hubby Rohit and son Soham. “I wore a black gown for the party. I believe in the phrase, “when in doubt wear black”, said Deepika.
Deepika’s excited son
Deepika revealed to TimesofIndia.com that her son was more excited about her birthday. She said, “Last year my son Soham was too young to remember anything. But this year he is the most excited for my birthday party. He loves cutting cakes and parties. He wore a nice blazer for the birthday bash.” Deepika cut the fruit-theme cake with her son.
Diya aur Baati Hum reunion
Deepika, who rose to fame playing the character of Sandhya in popular show Diya aur Baati Hum, invited the cast to her birthday party. Kanica Maheshwari, Ashok Lokhande and Neelu Vaghela were happy to reunite with their Sandhya bindani.
Gopi bahus from Saath Nibhana Saathiya
It was a great sight to see both the Gopi bahus of Saath Nibhana Saathiya – Giaa Manek and Devoleena attend the birthday party. The two look gorgeous in pretty dresses.
Whatta fun night
Deepika let her down and danced like there’s no one’s watching. Gia, Devoleena, Kanica and many others joined her on the dance floor.
No more a surprise birthday party
Initially, Rohit wanted to throw a surprise bash but realising that Deepika’s busy schedule, he had to reveal his plans. Deepika said, “Rohit realised that I am shooting and if he doesn’t inform me I might not arrive at the party. He organised such a lovely birthday party, that itself is a birthday gift for me. I had lots of fun.”
Birthday on Kawach sets
Deepika also celebrated her birthday on the sets of Kawach with co-star Namik Paul. Namik is in awe of Deepika’s discipline and said, “She is super-efficient. Even if we are shooting for 16-17 hours, she is always high on energy.”
