Yesterday, on the occasion of legendary artist Uttam Kumar’s death anniversary, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee paid tribute to him in a cultural programme organized by the Government of West Bengal. At the event, organized at Uttam Mancha, CM Mamata Banerjee honoured artists from Tollywood with Special Film Awards and Mahanayak Awards for their contribution. Artists Koel Mallick, Subhashree Ganguly, Srabanti Chatterjee, Ankush Hazra, Sayantika Banerjee received Mahanayak Award. Director Haranath Chakraborty and actors Anirban Bhattacharya, Sohini Sarkar were honoured for their contribution to Bengali films. Here’s a look
