Shreema Bhattacherjee-Aneek Dhar hosted Agomoni Aradhana will give you Durga Puja vibes

Bengali diaspora around the globe is eagerly waiting to welcome Maa Durga. To make the festive vibes more colourful, a leading channel will telecast its special program ‘Agomoni Aradhana’ prior to Mahalaya. Here’s a glimpse of the musical extravaganza.

The show will take the audience on a nostalgic trip through ‘Nishi Japon’, prior to Mahalaya. The concept of the special program is inspired by the age-old Bengali family tradition of ‘Nishipalon’, organized by the family members on the last night of ‘Pitripaksha’ right before Mahalaya that marks the beginning of Devi Paksha.

Hosted by popular actress Shreema and singer Aneek, the show will make the festive spirit more colourful. Right from the beautiful set, which will give you puja vibes, to the traditional attires of the hosts- everything has been conceptualised keeping the Bengali tradition in mind.

Popular singers Jayati Chakraborty, Raghab Chatterjee, Sahoj Ma, Madhubanti Bagchi, Durnibar, Aditi Munshi, Rishi Panda, Niharika and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2020’s winner Arkadeep Mishra will be a part of this musical adda. The special guests will perform 40 different songs right from Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Agomoni, classical, Bangla adhunik gaan.

The guests and hosts Shreema-Aneek had a gala time during the shoot. They all engaged in a fun-filled adda where, the guests shared their Durga Puja memories besides singing songs. The hosts will also be seen performing a dance.

A true blue Bangali simply can’t keep calm when it comes to their biggest festival Durga Puja. The countdown of Durga Puja actually starts for Bengali people much early. And ‘Agomoni Aradhana’ will make this puja feeling even more special with its colourful offerings.
