Puber Moyna: Roddur invites Moyna to his wedding

Puber Moyna’, the newly launched Bengali serial, is packing its episodes with engaging entertainment. As per the current track of the show, since Roddur came back home rescuing Moyna, she has been living in the Dasgupta residence with the family. As Moyna got acquainted with Roddur’s family, they were taken by the jovial nature of her in no time. However, Roddur is sceptical about Moyna’s stay at their residence.
But as the family members have grown fond of her, he has little say in it. Meanwhile, Moyna plans to call her father back in Bangladesh, so that she can go back home. To do so, Moyna takes a one hundred rupee note from Roddur’s wallet while cleaning his room. The household cook, Holud, catches Moyna during the act. When Roddur realises that a hundred rupee note is missing, Holud tells him that Moyna has stolen money from his wallet. As Roddur confronts her about it, Moyna confesses the truth.
Moyna finally manages to call her father in Bangladesh. Debshankar, Moyna’s father is relieved to hear from his daughter. Debshankar decides to bring Moyna back to Bangladesh and gets started with all the arrangements.
On the other hand, Roddur, who is soon to be married to Gunja, warns Moyna to stay in line till she is in the house. Roddur figures out that Moyna is extremely scared of being taken to the police, so he uses that tactic to keep a check on Moyna’s antics. Roddur invites Moyna to his wedding, but Moyna is not so keen to be there for Roddur’s wedding. Moyna tells him that once her father takes her back to Bangladesh, she won’t come back.
What fate Moyna will face in the coming days?

‘Puber Moyna’ aims to tell the story of Roddur Dasgupta, a young man from a uniquely dysfunctional family where no one gets along and Moyna, a girl from Bangladesh with a traumatic past. Roddur's family is infamous in their locality for their constant bickering, leading Roddur to vow never to marry. Moyna, who was married to a man from Bangladesh, with nefarious intentions, escapes from her dire situation and finds herself on the run. By chance, she encounters Roddur's mother, Ronjaboti and manages to save her belongings from thieves. Ronjaboti eventually gives her shelter. Moyna's simplicity and warmth gradually win over Roddur's family, bringing them closer together. Unaware of Moyna's past, Roddur marries her and Moyna eventually reveals her story to him. Roddur is initially shocked and outraged but chooses to keep her secret from the rest of the family. Just when it seems Moyna may find peace and happiness, her past resurfaces, threatening to disrupt their newfound harmony.
‘Puber Moyna’, starring Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Aishani De, narrates a story that beautifully captures the journey of overcoming past misfortunes to find happiness and a second lease on life. The makers of the show believe that the show will be a touchstone of nostalgia for ‘Dui Bangla’.
