Puber Moyna: Roddur decides to speak with Moyna alone

‘Puber Moyna’ is bracing to finally treat the audience with the wedding of its lead pair, Roddur and Moyna. As per the current track of the Bengali television show, after Gunja elopes with Shreyash on the evening of her wedding to Roddur, Ronjaboti picks Moyna as her son’s bride and informs Roddur that he will be marrying her before the wedding night ends.

Roddur and the Dasgupta family got the biggest shock on the evening of Roddur’s wedding. As Roddur had arrived at Gunja’s residence along with the other members of the Dasgupta family to marry Gunja, they got to know that she had fled the wedding venue with Shreyash.

Gunja, who had already planned to escape the wedding venue with Shreyash, deserted Roddur at the wedding altar. As Gunja’s arrival was being delayed, her mother went up to fetch her daughter only to find her room empty. She checked Shreyash’s room and realised that Gunja had fled the wedding with Shreyash. When Gunja’s father got to know his daughter had fled home, he decided against informing the Dasguptas to save his family’s reputation. However, after much dillydallying, Gunja’s mother finally informed them that her daughter had fled home with Shreyash.

Upon knowing that Gunja had fled with Shreyash, Roddur and the Dasgupta family felt humiliated and came back home. Ronjaboti was shattered seeing her son heartbroken. However, Ronjaboti was accused of wishing against Gunja becoming the daughter-in-law. After being accused of so, Ronjaboti became stubborn to get her son married on the same evening. To everyone’s surprise and shock, Ronjaboti picked Moyna as Roddur’s bride. Everyone in the family spoke against this match and Roddur was left speechless at his mother’s demand.

Ronjaboti asked Moyna’s hand from Debshankar for Roddur. Debshankar told Ronjaboti that he wanted his daughter to study further before she got married. Ronjaboti assured him that Moyna would continue her studies even after marriage. Debshankar agreed to the match.

When Ronjaboti announced Roddur’s marriage to Moyna, Roddur locked himself inside his room. Nobody could make him open the doors of his room. Roddur did not even pay attention to Ronjaboti's pleas. However, Moyna, with the presence of her mind, made Roddur come out of his room.

Ronjaboti got upset with Roddur and decided to leave the Dasgupta residence. Roddur tried to stop his mother and finally agreed to speak with Moyna alone before deciding on their marriage.
‘Puber Moyna’, starring Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Aishani De, aims to tell the story of Roddur Dasgupta, a young man from a uniquely dysfunctional family where no one gets along and Moyna, a girl from Bangladesh with a traumatic past. Roddur's family is infamous in their locality for their constant bickering, leading Roddur to vow never to marry. Moyna, who was married to a man from Bangladesh, with nefarious intentions, escapes from her dire situation and finds herself on the run. By chance, she encounters Roddur's mother, Ronjaboti and manages to save her belongings from thieves. Ronjaboti eventually gives her shelter.

Moyna's simplicity and warmth gradually win over Roddur's family, bringing them closer together. Unaware of Moyna's past, Roddur marries her and Moyna eventually reveals her story to him. Roddur is initially shocked and outraged but chooses to keep her secret from the rest of the family. Just when it seems Moyna may find peace and happiness, her past resurfaces, threatening to disrupt their newfound harmony.
