‘Puber Moyna’ is shifting the focus on its lead pair Roddur and Moyna’s marital life after they tied the knot as per Ronjaboti’s wishes. As per the current track of the Bengali television show, Debshankar along with Rupai and Moyna’s grandmother finally bid goodbye to Moyna and leave for Bangladesh.
After Roddur and Moyna tied the knot with each other as per Ronjaboti’s wishes, Gunja started planning her way back into Roddur’s life.
However, Roddur’s marriage to Moyna was not without its hurdles. Roddur had presented a few terms before he tied the knot with Moyna. He had asked Moyna to promise him that she would leave the Dasgupta residence once she became self-sufficient. Moyna too, had agreed to Roddur’s conditions and promised him that she would never ask to be treated as his wife.
Meanwhile, Gunja saw Shreyash’s true colours soon enough and realised that she had made a mistake. Gunja came back with a story of Shreyash abducting her forcefully on her wedding evening and Gunja’s father believed her without even blinking an eye. Gunja already had her plans ready to distance Roddur from Moyna and win him over. Gunja set her plans in motion to manipulate Roddur into believing that she still cared for him.
On the other hand, it was time for Debshankar, Rupai, and Moyna’s grandmother to leave the Dasgupta residence and set out for Bangladesh. Debshankar wanted to meet with Roddur before they set off to invite him for Ashtamongola. To everyone’s surprise, Roddur returned from work to see them off giving in to Moyna’s request. Debshankar repeatedly requested Roddur to come to Bangladesh for Ashtamongola with Moyna. Roddur finally promised that he would visit Bangladesh for the ritual.
When it was time for Debshankar, Rupai and Moyna’s grandmother to leave, Moyna was inconsolable. During those moments of vulnerability, Moyna found solace in Roddur.
‘Puber Moyna’, starring
Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Aishani De, aims to tell the story of Roddur Dasgupta, a young man from a unique and affluent joint family residing in North Kolkata. On the other hand, Moyna is a girl from Bangladesh, hailing from moderate means. Moyna and Roddur’s paths cross during the festivities of
Durga Puja when Roddur rescues a drowning Moyna from the river. When Roddur brings Moyna to his home to treat her as a doctor and help her get back to her feet – Moyna forges a beautiful bond with his mother Ronjaboti.
Although Moyna and Roddur are mostly at loggerheads with each other, her simplicity and warmth gradually win over Roddur's family, bringing them closer together. In a twist of fate, Roddur and Moyna end up getting hitched. Will they ever find true companionship in each other? ‘Puber Moyna’ narrates the story of an unlikely bond that only grows fonder.
