Neel Bhattacharya's 'Uma' to Mir Afsar Ali-hosted ‘Sangeet er Mahajuddho’: New shows set to entertain telly audiences soon

Raj Chakraborty will direct a show after a long time. The music reality show will feature some renowned celebrities including Rashid Khan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Jeet Gannguli and Lopamudra Mitra as the judges. Actor-host and RJ Mir Afsar Ali will host the music reality show which will crown the champion of the champions among 16 singers who had participated in TV shows earier.

After badminton player bahu Diya, footballer Joyee and singer-RJ Shyama, it is time to welcome cricket aspirant Uma. Model Shinjeeni Chakraborty will play a cricketer while Bengali TV’s current favourite Neel Bhattacharya will play the male lead in the show. ‘Uma’ will have an ensemble cast which includes senior artists like Bharat Kaul, Nibedita Mukherjee, and others.

Koneenica Banerjee will make a comeback on television once again. She will play the titular role in the upcoming show ‘Aye Tobe Sohochori’. Actor Indrajit Chakraborty will be paired opposite her. The show will narrate the bond between housewife Sohochori and college student Borfi.

Devleena Dutt will essay a negative role in ‘Trishul Teen Shaktir Aadhar’ which is gearing up for its launch today (August 30). Tumpa Ghosh, Sudipta Chakraborty and Monalisa Das will essay reel sisters in 'Trishul Teen Shaktir Aadhar'.

Along with an interesting storyline, ‘Kaanchchi’ will feature an ensemble cast which includes Kathakali Chakraborty, Tulika Basu, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Bharat Kaul, Arunabha Dutta, Tanushree Ray, Sayan Chakraborty, Ayesha Atreyee Bhattacharya, Omi Mukherjee, Soumi Pal, Aradha Biswas. The show will be launched today. Manish Ghosh is directing the show.

Arija Addy Roy and Abhishek Veer Sharma starrer ‘Mou Er Bari’ deals with a sensitive topic. It voices against the popular belief that only a son should take care of his parents. A daughter, on the other hand, should take care of her in-laws. Sujan Mukherjee will essay Adrija's reel dad in the show while Dipanwita Nath would play his wife.

Senior artist Anjana Basu will play a rich and powerful woman in the show. Pallavi Dey and model-turned-actor Samm will essay the lead pair in ‘Mon Mane Na’ which will premiere today. It will narrate the story of two young individuals Rudra and Gauri who are completely opposite by nature. While Gauri is educated, Rudra has a rustic personality.
