Shruti-Swornendu

“I proposed to Babi (her nickname for Swornendu) first and he took four months to accept my proposal! It wasn’t love at first sight, it gradually happened while working together,” Shruti Das

“We both cried when we saw each other decked as bride and groom on June 9, it was a divine moment for us. Many trolled us for our age gap, but we are equal in our relationship and divided the money we spent on our wedding. We respect each other a lot and never take professional favours from each other,” Shruti Das

“We are planning to travel abroad for our honeymoon. Shruti has never been on a flight, so it’ll be her first flying experience. The marriage was a dreamy affair, but it has also made me more responsible as a partner,” Swornendu Samaddaar

“On the sets we’ve always been director-actor for the past four years, nothing more than that. I don’t have time to pay heed to our trollers as we are happy and confident about each other. Love wins in the end,” Swornendu

Anamika-Uday

“I am on cloud nine after marriage but I’ve no space left in my wardrobe and dressing table anymore as more than 90% has been occupied by my wife. I hardly get any space to sleep as she takes more than half the space,”” Uday Pratap Singh

“We keep away from any PDA on social media hence we kept our wedding intimate as well. It’s better to have genuine well-wishers around than inviting many who would have had fish fries and then say- namak kam tha?,” Uday

“Uday never proposed to me and we went with the flow, there were mutual feelings for each other. But, he did propose for marriage by going down on one knee with a ring! It made me cry as I didn’t know how to react. I love the little things he does to make me happy,” Anamika

“His eyes welled up when she saw me as a bride! I could see a sense of fulfilment in his eyes. I still remember our first date at a tea shop near Patuli. Our relationship developed over drives and tea dates in the car. I never used to like tea but I’m a tea addict now after being with Uday!” Anamika
