Shyama requests Nikhil to not stop her from performing the rituals. Nikhil gets furious and leaves while
Alok
asks Shyama to concentrate on her health which might get affected due to the tough rituals. Hearing Alok concerned about Shyama makes
Sujata
furious. Basanta also expresses his discontent openly and asks
Rangini
to leave.
Sujata interferes and says she had requested Rangini to be with her. She also threatens to leave along with Rangini. An angry Basanta asks Sujata to stay with Rangini at her ashram till Shyama’s competition gets over. Basanta leaves the place too.
Sujata tries to explain Shyama that she loves her and will never do anything which would harm her (Shyama).
With a smiling face, Shyama agrees to perform the rituals.
As soon as Shyama leaves, Rangini provokes Sujata against Shyama.
On the other hand, Shyama tries to talk to Nikhil, who is miffed with her for agreeing to all these things as suggested by Rangini and Sujata. Shyama tries to calm him down. When he enquires about Shyama’s throat issues, she lies.
Later, Shyama, Nikhil and Aslok discuss about their music troupe.
Next day, Rangini and Sujata are eagerly waiting for Shyama at dawn. Shayma arrives along with Basanta, Nikhil, Alok. Shyama gets ready for the rituals. Rangini asks Sujata to pour cold water on Shyama. Nikhil, Basanta and Aloke are unable to see the sight.
