Bengali television has seen some menacing vamps who gave the female protagonists sleepless nights. With their ‘re-vamped’ strategies and never-ending conspiracies, these dangerous divas spiced up the otherwise ‘ordinary’ storyline. Be it June Guha aka June aunty from the recently concluded show ‘Sreemoyee’, Padma in ‘Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni’, Nipa Deb from Bengali TV’s current favourite ‘Khukumoni Home Delivery’; these characters enjoy huge popularity despite having negative shades.
