Abhishek Veer Sharma

There is no secret that Abhishek enjoys a huge fan following and most of them are female admirers. In fact, he was Mr. popular since his school days. “In school, I used to receive gifts and chocolates on Valentine's Day. Girls from different classes, both junior and senior, used to send me gifts. My friends used to eat all those chocolates and give me just a bite! I used to get diaries, expensive pens, watches, cards, showpieces, etc. But I could never take those home because my parents would ask,” he adds.

Abhishek shared one interesting incident from his school days that he still remembers. “I was in class VIII’s boys’ section back then. I went to my classroom and found everyone was staring at me like I have committed a crime. I found it weird. Later, I saw someone has written I LOVE YOU ABHISHEK on the walls, benches, and other places. After that, all my friends used to call me by that girl's name who did all these!” shares Abhishek. Priya Mondal

The actress, who is currently playing the female lead in ‘Tumii Je Amar Maa’, recalled a hilarious incident from her teenage days. “I was barely in my teens and was all excited about celebrating Valentine’s Day. Just like any other teenager, I was keen on making sure that my parents don’t find out. I had sent a gift via courier to the guy I liked but unfortunately, the address I had mentioned was wrong. The courier guy called me and informed me that another guy lives in the flat that I mentioned in the address. To my surprise, I found out, a very good looking guy lives in the same building and my gift almost reached him mistakenly. After a lot of effort, the gift was finally handed over to the right guy. Much later, I realised it could have been better if the gift was delivered to the handsome guy instead of the one I wanted to actually send. Who knows, it could have worked out (laughs out loud),” she said. Although Priya missed that ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ moment, she is happy recalling it now. “Oh, those days were really beautiful. We were really young and innocent,” she adds. (Photo: Facebook)

Rahul Dev Bose

Rahul too took a walk down memory lane and recalled a rather interesting experience on Valentine’s Day. “When I was in college, I actually decided to skip a Valentine’s Day dinner with my then-girlfriend because my favorite football team Liverpool was playing that evening. I spent the entire evening watching the match and then the rest of it grumbling because Liverpool lost. Needless to say, my then girlfriend was not very impressed,” said Rahul who had to face a ‘penalty’ because of his choice! (Photo: Facebook)

Fahim Mirza

Fahim’s list of admirers is quite long with mostly young girls who simply go gaga over him. He shared a funny incident. “I was in college back then. There was a beautiful girl who used to reside at the house just opposite to my friend’s residence. I used to visit my friend’s house just to get a glimpse of her. I still remember standing for hours looking at the terrace where the girl used to stand. We would exchange looks from distance. One day, when she was going to tuition, I gathered the courage and handed over my phone number on a piece of paper with the hope that she would call. Looking at her smile, I was sure to get a call from her. Later, on Valentine’s Day, I actually got a call, not from the girl but her mom! Their driver asked me to visit their place. I was petrified to see her mom standing right in front of me. No, she wasn’t strict but very politely explained everything. After that, I lost all hope but right then, I got a call from the girl! That’s how our relationship started,” Fahim shared with a smile on his face. The actor is currently busy with a TV show ‘Shwet Pathorer Thala’. (Photo: Facebook)

Sneha Das

Sneha has an interesting story to share too. “I met a guy on social media and we were talking to each other for quite some time before we finally decided to meet during Valentine’s week. My mom is more like a friend to me, so she knew about the plan. She and my friend were a bit worried thinking about my safety. They walked me through all the dos and don’ts on the first date. And the prime point was that I shouldn’t get into his car no matter what. So, finally, on D-day, we met and after a while, he suggested going to a nearby place which meant, I had to get into his car. Back in my mind, mom’s cautionary words were making rounds and I kept saying no to him. But eventually, I agreed. While going with him, I was petrified thinking about what may or may not happen. But nothing bad happened and he turns out to be a very good guy to whom I am married now!” shared the actress. She is playing the female lead in ‘Shwet Pathorer Thala’. (Photo: Facebook)
