From Ipsita Mukherjee to Ankita Mallick – here’s how TV celebs celebrated Rath Yatra



​Rath Yatra is one of the most auspicious festivities celebrated in India, especially in and around the eastern region of India. Lord Jagannath, Balaram and Subhadra are worshipped on the day of the festivity and they are taken out in a chariot, popularly known as Rath. Although Puri, Orissa is the land the biggest celebration of Rath Yatra, Bengal too doesn’t lag behind. Celebrities from the Bengali entertainment industry celebrated the auspicious day with so much enthusiasm and zeal. Take a look.

​The ‘Trinayani’ famed actress worshipped Lord Jagannath, Balaram and Subhadra at her humble abode. Shruti moved into her new house with her husband, parents and in-laws a couple of months ago. On the occasion of Rath Yatra this year, Shruti did the Puja entirely on her own for the first time.
