Make sure that you choose the quieter and better-lit rooms on the higher floors of the guesthouse. The rooftop café is where you are likely to spend most of the time, watching the sky change colours and pigeon keepers train their troupe in the backdrop of a jumble of houses. This is one of the most characterful budget accommodations of Varanasi.
