Makeup in a passport photo - yay or nay
One can wear minimal makeup while going for a passport photo. In fact, most people turn up at the passport office with basic makeup, like an easy-on-eyes lip gloss. Of course, red lipsticks, cat eyes, bold colours, fancy hairdos (which cover face) are best avoided or you might have to retouch your makeup before getting the photo clicked. The simplest way is to go for nude makeup, so you can have best of both the worlds. Sunshades are also a strict no-no; in fact, you would be asked to take off any eyewear and then pose for your passport photo. While you would usually be asked to take off powered eyeglasses in most cases, it should not reflect any light or camera flash if you are allowed to wear one. So yes, choose neutral makeup palettes for a safe bet.
