The Chhattisgarh government has exempted fully vaccinated air travellers from carrying negative RT PCR test reports. The government has ruled that passengers who have taken only one vaccination as yet, will still need to carry an RT PCR covid test report conducted within 96 hours before boarding the flight.
The state has reported a maximum of 3 cases each from Durg, Janjgir-Champa, Surguja, and Bastar, while two each were reported from Mahasamund, Raigarh, Koriya, Bijapur, and Kanker. While only one case of covid was reported from Raipur, Korba, Jashpur, Dantewada, Sukma, and Jashpur.
Many destinations are slowly ruling that fully vaccinated travellers do not need RT PCR test reports. This is however only applicable to people who have received both the jabs.
It was also reported that no vaccination was done in 24 districts here in Chhattisgarh last Sunday due to the Rakshabandhan festival. Only 239 people got vaccinated.
